Reviews of Asimina Hotel

The hotel is located very centrally in Fira town: it’s right in the middle of the shopping, restaurant and pub area. Therefore, there is always a tiny bit of street noise (only pedestrians talking or a bit of party people fun, no car traffic!). The room was very spacious, furniture & facilties (wifi, fridge, hairdryer, aircon, tv) were all well-maintained and spotlessly clean. A bonus was the balcony with chairs and a table and a view over the hotel’s restaurant and neighbourhood plus a view to the distant mountain. Checkin was fast and easy. What needs a bit of renovation is the entrance area which is partly reception, and partly tour agency and exchange office: it looks a bit untidy and unwelcoming. The shower was the hottest and biggest I had in my 3 weeks of travels .

A very positive experience. Although the room was a bit small, the stay was very pleasant, exceeding all expectations. The staff was very friendly and the room was always clean. The location was excellent. The restaurant next door was also very good.

Centrally located, yet quiet, the hotel is close to the nightlife. The rooms aren't large, and there are a few minor flaws, like the stained curtains, but they're minor. We felt right at home; they helped us plan our vacation, offering boat tours, car rentals, and transportation. It's clear they approach their work with honesty and simplicity. Breakfast is simple, with Greek yogurt, toasted bread, and jam, but it's still adequate for the excellent price we paid for our stay. I would definitely return.
