This was my second time coming to the Mangrove tree resort and I can’t stress more how amazing this resort is! The first time I came I haven’t seen the street food street but this was a wonderful surprise because you don’t even have to leave the resort to eat out which I found really convenient! Definitely a place to consider when going to Sanya!

The front desk was very helpful. For the price we enjoyed our stay. Restaurants may be ready to open now. Breakfast was pretty good. Bathrooms are the interesting glass ones they seem to like here. Not our type. The modern lobby look needs to be refurbished. They threw in waterpark tickets for free so we had a good time. But if you pay full price for the waterpark expect to be disappointed. Only 2 slides working. Lazy river and wave pool are good and clean, though. Cinema and kids park next to the hotel. Great spot for families, if they continue to open up and provide a little more maintenance, etc. to the entire resort.

The check-in experience was really bad. It was a bit like a youth hostel but not like a five-star hotel. The breakfast was very poor. Before I got up in the morning, the room service came directly to clean up the room without permission. I was really speechless.
