MGM Grand Sanya

Staying at MGM Grand Sanya was an overall great experience! The room was clean and tidy, with excellent attention to detail in terms of hygiene, making for a very comfortable stay. The service was warm and attentive, and requests were handled promptly. The location is prime, right in the heart of Yalong Bay, very close to the beach, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The environment is comfortable, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The beachfront restaurant is also a nice touch!

Escaped from the hotel next door, and as soon as I got out of the car, I felt the service a five-star hotel should offer. Luggage storage, bellhop greeting, check-in—everything was well-organized and spacious. Facilities: Although it's an older hotel, the amenities aren't outdated. It's worth mentioning that while old hotels usually lack bedside outlets, this one designed the nightstands to allow direct charging, and they even padded the corners to prevent children from getting hurt. Ambiance: The air conditioning was excellent, even in the lobby. The decor has that classic, Hong Kong-style old hotel vibe.

Our family vacation with the kids at MGM was fantastic! This place is perfect for traveling with children. The resort grounds are lovely, there's a great variety of activities, and plenty of pools. Check-in was efficient, and our room was clean and spacious. They even provided kids' amenities and a complimentary little lion toy. The kids absolutely loved the children's play area. Breakfast offered a wide selection, and the service was thoughtful. It's a one-stop shop for eating, staying, and playing – incredibly convenient and truly outstanding overall!

The overall service and environment were good. The only drawback was the lack of privacy on the balcony. Our room was in the middle, with neighbors on both sides of the terrace, separated only by some greenery. We could easily see people on the adjacent balconies, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, the soundproofing wasn't great, though I understand that's a common issue. Other than that, the experience was quite pleasant.

MGM Sanya is consistently my top choice whenever I visit, it always feels like coming home. The staff are warm and attentive, the breakfast spread is fantastic, and the lakeside barbecue offers a unique and delightful experience! It's been my first pick every year without fail, and this year, especially, the thoughtful and heartwarming service from Ms. LXR truly stood out! Thank you.

Our Sanya trip led us to the MGM Grand Sanya Yalong Bay, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations—a definite five-star rating! The hotel's location is superb, offering direct access to a private beach with crystal-clear waters and soft sand, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Our room was spacious, the facilities were well-maintained, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. They even thoughtfully provided beach bags and slippers. The dining options were diverse, with a rich buffet breakfast featuring both Chinese and Western cuisine, and several specialty restaurants to cater to various tastes. The resort offers an abundance of entertainment, with clean swimming pools for all ages, surfing, zip-lining, and a fully equipped kids' club. There were also various themed activities daily, ensuring we were never bored from morning till night. The evening pool performances created a fantastic atmosphere, lively and exciting. What truly stood out was the service. All the staff were warm and courteous, proactively helping with luggage and responding quickly to any issues—the attention to detail was impressive. Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends, this place is ideal for a complete, one-stop vacation experience. It's already on my list for my next Sanya stay—awesome!

Along Yalong Bay, hotels are lined up one after another, and with a few exceptions, their prices are all quite similar. The choice of which hotel to pick really comes down to personal preference. 1. **Choice:** If you're looking for a quieter stay, Hilton or Marriott would be good options, as they don't have too many organized activities. If you want to relax while your kids have plenty of space to burn off energy and learn some skills, MGM is the place to be. They have a wide variety of pools and activities. My nine-year-old learned to surf in just an hour! 2. **Sand:** Lying on the beach is okay, but forget about snorkeling to see fish or anything – there's nothing there, and the sand is quite coarse and uncomfortable underfoot. The lack of fine sand is a big downside. 3. **Activities:** There are lots of activities, which means lots of kids, making it incredibly noisy. 4. **Breakfast:** It's decent, but after 8 AM, you'll have to queue to get in because it gets too crowded. 5. **Afternoon Tea:** The most impressive part for me was the cakes at the chocolate house – they were delicious! Not those mushy, soft types! 6. **Milk Tea:** I found it to be mediocre. The pearls were rock hard, and the tea was very astringent! 7. **Accommodation:** The room was quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. For example, the power outlets and the light control panel. The worst part was that the toilet in my room was leaking, which was really annoying... 8. **Photos:** The beach looks beautiful for photos on a clear day.

The MGM Sanya Yalong Bay offers an excellent experience. It has direct access to a private beach with fine sand. The rooms are clean and spacious, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the staff are attentive and thoughtful. The pool and the evening 'M Show' create a fantastic atmosphere, making it a top choice for families with kids.

This is definitely the top choice for a five-star luxury resort in Yalong Bay, and our entire experience was simply flawless! The hotel has direct access to a fine, soft white sand beach right outside. Our ocean-view room featured a massive floor-to-ceiling window, and the balcony's lounge chairs offered a direct view of the azure sea and coconut groves – we got to enjoy breathtaking sunrises over the ocean every morning. The concierge and room service were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, providing complimentary fresh fruit and beach amenities upon arrival, and responding to our requests swiftly. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied, and dining at the Neeway Ocean View Restaurant with the sea view was an absolute delight. The M Show dinner had a fantastic ambiance. With a swimming pool, indoor surfing, and a well-equipped kids' club, this resort has everything you need for families and couples to eat, drink, and play without ever having to leave. We'll definitely choose MGM again on our next trip to Sanya!
