Sanya Baohong Hotel

I wouldn't even stay another night at this hotel. From check-in, when I handed my ID to the front desk and they asked if I was checking out – which completely confused me – to being called after getting my room key to say the room wasn't ready and I had to wait outside the door. I put up with all of that. But as soon as I entered the room, there was an incredibly strong mix of perfume and foul odor that made me feel sick. The room was right next to a panoramic elevator, meaning people could see into my room, so I couldn't even open the curtains. Plus, the closet light wouldn't turn off and stayed on all night. At the pool, foreigners weren't asked for their room numbers, but every Chinese person was, and even when I had my room card out, if I couldn't recall the number instantly, they'd ask for it. So I guess being white is better, huh? And who wants a pool full of body odor and perfume anyway? If I had known all this, I definitely wouldn't have booked. The breakfast was also mostly bread, jam, and salad for foreigners. There were only 3 hot dishes, not counting dumplings, and the milk was super sweet to suit their taste. It seems like this hotel isn't even trying to cater to Chinese guests, so why are they even listed on platforms accessible to us?

We chose the Noble Suite, a luxurious king room with one bedroom, two living rooms, and two bathrooms, along with another suite featuring one bedroom, one living room, and two bathrooms. The layout was good, and the overall cleanliness was decent. However, some facilities in areas like the luxury king room's bathroom felt a bit dated. The bed was too hard, almost like a wooden board. They only provided a small amount of drinking water – just two 300ml bottles per day. The breakfast offered a good variety, and overall, it was good value for money. The service quality, though, could use some improvement!

The hotel location is easy to find and very convenient for getting around. The room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were gentle and patient. The facilities are complete, and overall, it's excellent value for money. Highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic! The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The high-floor view was absolutely stunning, I couldn't get enough of it each day. The staff were super friendly and incredibly responsive to all requests. Highly recommend!
