It's super convenient as it's just across the road from the beach, and there were many international guests staying there. The breakfast was just okay, but the proximity to the beach is a huge plus. The staff were all very warm and attentive. I took so many photos by the sea. They also have a photographer there who charges ¥20 per photo.

Facilities: The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. There was also a large balcony, perfect for drying clothes or just sitting and enjoying the view. Cleanliness: Everything was very clean, absolutely fantastic. Environment: The hotel has a swimming pool with clean water, the deepest part being 1.5 meters. It's just a two-minute walk from the hotel exit to the beach, where the hotel provides sun loungers. The hotel's location is also very close to Baihua Valley. Service: The staff were excellent! They helped us upgrade our room type and even gave us a fruit platter. They were very responsive to all our requests. 👍

The hygiene and location of the hotel are excellent. It seems to be entirely staffed by a Russian team, and the beach is just across the road. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn't very cool; I woke up feeling hot both nights. It felt like the temperature, no matter how low I set it, stayed at 26 degrees Celsius most of the time, both day and night. The thick duvet certainly didn't help!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, nestled right in the Yalong Bay resort area, facing the sea with direct access to the beach. It boasts a beautiful swimming pool and a lovely environment. The staff are professional and well-trained, and the entire property is clean and well-maintained, with excellent hygiene. It made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay, an overall superb experience!

We chose a sea-view room. The service was great, very enthusiastic. They helped us with our luggage and even arranged entertainment for us. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit old, which is to be expected given its age. Everything else was excellent.

The pool is beautiful, and it's a straight 50 meters from the beach. The room facilities are complete, but the decor looks like something from the early 20th century. However, the hygiene is quite good. The front desk service was excellent; they even gave us a free room upgrade. It's suitable for a vacation, but don't be too picky!

I stayed at Golden Palm over a decade ago. Back then, the area wasn't as bustling, and the hotel's private beach was just across the road. I remember thinking it was incredible value for money. Now, the surroundings are very commercialized, with plenty of dining options, and the beach has become public. However, it's still relatively quiet, and not overly crowded. The hotel's location is good, and the price is reasonable, though the facilities are a bit dated, and breakfast is quite average. Compared to other beachfront hotels in Yalong Bay, Golden Palm still offers a bit of a price advantage.

Great for families with kids! The rooms are spacious, and the hotel's package deals are delicious and offer fantastic value for money.

The hotel’s location is very good — it is not far from the sea. Food shops are also conveniently located about 500–600 meters away, and the seawater here is noticeably cleaner

The Golden Palm has been our family's go-to hotel for Hainan vacations for over twenty years, holding countless cherished memories. This trip was a nostalgic one, with every corner brimming with recollections! What remained the same were the hotel's lobby, pool, rooms, balconies, and beach... but there were also many changes. There's no longer seafood for breakfast, the lobby's louvre windows have been replaced with glass, and the breakfast restaurant moved from the second floor to the first. The bathtubs in the rooms have also been swapped for shower stalls. Yet, I still feel that if you're on vacation and not by the sea, or by the sea and not staying at the Golden Palm, it just doesn't feel like a proper vacation!

The room was great, and the hotel's pool area has three sections, which the kids absolutely loved. What's even better is that right outside the hotel, just across the street, there's a public beach with water sports available (operated by a third party, for an additional fee). Highly recommend!
