We had a nice and really spacious room on the 9th floor, with a beautiful mountain view, quiet and relaxing. It was cleaned every day, and the bed sheets every other day. There is a great fitness room which we used daily for cardio and weight training. We paid for a room with breakfasts and there were plenty of options, oats, eggs, ham, sweet potato, vegetables, fruits, meat, rice and noodles, bread, jam and butter, coffee machine, milk, yogurt, coconut milk, juice... it's fresh and tasty. The beach is in front of a hotel, nice sand and clear water, plenty of waves though, so there were a couple of swimming zones fenced with buoys. People are selling fresh mango, watermelon and pineapple on the beach, convenient for a healthy snack break. Plenty of water sports available, we wanted to rent a water scooter, but the coach must be on the scooter with both of us, so we gave up. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay and we would choose this hotel again when in Sanya.

The first thing that attracted me to this hotel was the affordable prices compared to other nearby luxury hotels. It was definitely one of the better deals, and you get a very satisfactory stay in return. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, including the front desk staff, bellhops, bartender, cleaning staff, waiters, and various other encountered staff (knowing a little Chinese helps). A staff member kept in contact with me through Wechat with its built-in translation tool, answering any questions, helping with any request, and making sure each day remained a satisfactory experience. I would like to give a special compliment to Zoey, the front desk staff member who was of great assistance; she deserves a promotion! Also, praise to the friendly and hardworking cleaning lady that is assigned to building 3, floor 5 (I don't know her name); she also deserves a bonus! The room itself is cozy, comfortable, and clean. Room service is smooth, it is very convenient to take care of any living necessities, and the pools and beach are a short walk away. There are no complaints that I have in regard to my stay. My biggest highlight is definitely the big bathtub! My only suggestion would be a single foldable lounge chair for the balcony, allowing for a person to lay down outside or for sunbathing, so it is not needed to always go to the public sunbathing areas.

This is the first time I chose this place. The price/performance ratio is very high compared to the surrounding areas. The facilities in the store are complete. If you are considering a new hotel, you can avoid it. It has an antique architectural style and a new style in the lobby. After asking, I found out that the original name was ”Huayu Resort Hotel”. ;Although it is an old hotel, the service is really good. There are handsome guys who help with luggage when you enter. The grace service at the front desk is very efficient. Because the room booked early in the hotel is not available yet, she is very patient in explaining and arranging to store the luggage. Introduction If there are facilities for children to play, I will choose them again if I have the opportunity.

Facilities: The facilities are very new, complete, intelligent, and the design integrates modern simplicity and Chinese cultural elements. The toilet is separated into dry and wet areas, and there is an independent dressing table. There is a round bathtub on the balcony. In particular, the hotel's hair dryer is very easy to use. It is a Lefen hair dryer. It is light and compact, but the wind is strong, and it can be turned off in seconds, just like entering a vacuum. The bed in the room is very wide, and it feels like it can sleep three people. A very considerate point is that the care package has a hair band in addition to the regular cotton swabs and makeup removers. Hygiene: Clean, no mosquitoes. Environment: The hotel focuses on the Zen atmosphere. You can hear the soft meditation Zen atmosphere music played in the public area near the hotel, but there is no sound after closing the balcony window in the room. The sound insulation is very good, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The hotel has a lake, and Ambassador Vivi upgraded the room type for me, so that I can overlook the lake and the sea at the same time. The greening and gardening in the public area are beautiful and tidy. The overall environment is still good, suitable for travelers who like quietness. It is a 20-minute walk from Baihua Valley. It is very comfortable to walk back from dinner. Service: Ambassador Vivi contacted me the day before check-in to inquire about my needs and arrival time. Although I arrived early, the room was already prepared for me and upgraded for me. Thank you very much, which allowed me to experience a more comfortable and advanced environment. The hotel staff communicated smoothly and kindly. Minibar on the first day: Chips, beer and soft drinks were given as gifts. We stayed in 4 different hotels during this vacation and Pullman Yalong was by far the most disappointing one, although to be honest part of it comes from expectations. Pullman Yalong is a decent 3-4 star hotel, whose main problem is that expectations associated with the brand make it seem to be something it is not. Chinese breakfast is actually quite decent and has a wide range including MaLaTang, if you are craving Western food though it probably isn't worth the price. They have a big sign near the lobby recommending that you should not bring delivery food to your room, due to health and safety reasons, but feel free to ignore that. We ordered both room service and outside delivery on several occasions and deliveries were definitely a better option. Plus there is a food court and a supermarket not far from the hotel. The pool is quite big and its lower section is well shaded as well which a plus. However it was a major disappointment that the slide was closed(long term) as well as the cool cave you might see on the hotel's photos. On top of that there are some downright ridiculous designs ideas including a horrible pool access and sharp edge stairs inside the pool. The beach in Yalong is all public, but the access to it is limited by occasional path between some of the front row resorts. What this means in practice is that you will have a bit of a walk having to go around Marriot in Pullman's case. The room was OK, even had a bath and a walk-in wardrobe. The high point was the balcony above the pool. Signs of disrepair are visible around the hotel, but to be honest this seems to be the Yalong/Sanya standard at least for the 4 star hotels we stayed in. Jacky, I hope I got the name right, who worked in the lobby/shuttle car was great though. Not because he spoke good English(which he did), but because he had a problem solving attitude and wasn't afraid to approach guests to offer help.

Resort is beautiful, pools are nice, and it is well situated on the nicer part of the beach. It would be nice if there were more loungers available, as they tend to get filled up, even when it seems the resort is not that busy. It is unclear whether the dinner buffet is included in the price or not.

The place is always appealing, with its magnificent gardens and fully immersed in a green and well-kept environment. Everything is very clean, both outside and inside the villas. The staff has been always kind and attentive to our needs. We especially enjoyed the abundant breakfast, sitting outside with a nice view over the quiet lake. Going to the beach and back is very convenient, thanks to the shuttle service, very effective and timely. We only regret we couldn’t enjoy the dinner buffet, because the music was always too loud, preventing any conversation. This can be easily improved.

So many more positives that I would definitely stay here again - but there are a couple things that could be improved. Here are the good bits: Location: super close to Yalong bay and easy to get Didi to other places Service: rooms cleaned everyday, 24 hour reception, 24 hour resort transport, awesome breakfast, free shuttle bus to beach Cleanliness: all good! Amenities: warm swimming pool with loungers, all the usual things you would expect in the room. Here’s the stuff to improve: Half of the main swimming pool was closed the whole duration - this was not mentioned when booked. The swimming pool is open until 11:00pm which means if you’re in building one, you will hear kids screaming until 11:00pm. The beach bus is super old and broken - the ac doesn’t work and half the time I felt like we were going to break down! Also, there is no service between 11:30 and 14:00. Some areas of the resort/villas are still under construction.

I stayed in Sanya for five nights, and No. 99 Resort was the last two nights. It was also the most cost-effective hotel. It is really a treasure hotel. The hotel is located at the foot of Yalong Bay Paradise Tropical Forest Park, which is within walking distance. It is 2.8 kilometers away from Yalong Bay Beach, and the taxi is about 9 yuan. The hotel also has free sightseeing buses to the beach every hour, and free shuttle buses to and from the duty-free shop. But the hotel price is very affordable, less than half of the seaside hotel. The nearby Bohou Village and Liupan Village are within walking distance. It is affordable and convenient to eat and shop at the night market. You can also rent a small electric donkey to go around the surrounding fields. It's super cool. The room is clean and tidy. There is a girl with glasses at the front desk with a super good service attitude, and she also gave afternoon tea.

Before checking out in the morning, I took indoor and outdoor photos, and there were no filters for real shooting. The design is in its own style, and the overlap of the curtains around the corner is designed with a certain size of blocking, which is very detailed. Self-driving, there is an exclusive parking space outside the building, and the lights on the outside at night look dazzling. The hotel is a garden resort style. The front desk service attitude is very enthusiastic and we were given a free room upgrade. The room is clean and sanitary with a large balcony, a large swimming pool and a really good environment. There is also a small supermarket. When checking in, the front desk lady told me that there is a self-service washing machine and free laundry detergent. The hotel parking lot is large, and it is very convenient to drive to Yalong Bay or Haitang Bay. It is only a dozen minutes away. This stay experience is really good. Recommended for family travel.
