The onsen and the view was the best thing about this place. The onsen water was the best we’d had on our trip, even though the onsen area isn’t pretty we’re glad we used it and didn’t go to one of the big ones.
The rules and many emails on how to behave was overkill. We live in Japan so understand social rules and how to treat accommodation. Lots of threats on being charged if we did X or Y. I ignored them after the first few.
The building is old and the apartment is not spotless but the kitchen worked and the price was excellent for the Jozankei area. Again, the onsen water and the view in the morning was worth it. 6th floor.

The room is comfortable and clean, and the environment is beautiful and peaceful. Contact the store and you will get a reply soon. The staff is friendly and efficient. The items we were missing were delivered to the room quickly. The room is locked with a code and feels safe. Worth recommending.
