It is novel. There are various board games or chess games in the lobby for entertainment. There is a shuttle service from Sapporo Station, but you need to make a reservation, otherwise it may be full. It is also very convenient to take a bicycle, not far from Jozankei Ohashi Station. There is also a welcome drink, which is sake and Japanese snacks The roasted meat dinner served at one berth and two dining tables is also excellent.

It was very difficult and intense to get to, but it was great to be able to stay in a place with a comfortable and nice atmosphere for a day! The food was delicious and the hot springs were nice :-)

Jozankei Ryokan is mainly visited by local tourists. Maybe that's why we could mostly communicate in Japanese, but it was okay because there was a basic notice board in English. First of all, there is a shuttle bus in operation, so you can make a reservation by phone and wait at the indicated location near Odori Park and they will pick you up. The ryokan atmosphere is really nice and the hot spring is small, but there is also an outdoor open-air bath so you can enjoy the hot spring while looking at the snow. Not to mention the friendliness of the staff (👍👍👍), from the sake bar to the various snacks prepared in the lobby, this is a ryokan that I really want to visit again when I go to Jozankei!! p.s The check-out time is late and the shuttle bus service time is also late, around 12:30 PM. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away, but even though it is the 4th stop, it is full of tourists and carriers... It's a real hell bus... After using the ryokan, I recommend planning your itinerary leisurely the next day.

Hotel design is ok You can choose porridge or curry rice for breakfast, ok Roast pork for dinner, ok The only thing if you are interested in checking in, you'd better check more websites. When I went to check in, I found that there was no shower. I had to go to the hot spring to take a shower. I then checked my booking record from trip.com... . The room type description only states that it has a private toilet. When checking out, you will have to pay 150 Yen per person as hot spring tax. I just blame myself for not understanding the room type content clearly
