HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Sapporo Park Reviews

My wife and I checked in the hotel from 10-14 July 2024. Upon check-in, we were attended by a female counter staff. After checking both my wife and my passport, she mentioned that the room was booked for 4 nights for only 1 person and that I’ll have to pay ¥1,500 additional for each night that my wife stays with me. That added up to ¥6,000 which I felt was totally unnecessary because there was no additional costs incurred regardless my wife is staying with me in the room or not. I tried to speak rationally to the staff attending to me but due to some Japanese rules, she frowned and insisted that I’ve to pay for the ¥6,000 which I have no choice but to pay up. After paying the ¥6,000 we went up to room 705 and realized that the carpet in the room was so old and dirty with stains all over, especially along the main passageway. The bathtub is the only location we can take our shower in and it creaks whenever we step inside, sounding like it’s gonna break apart anytime. The water temperature was also irregular. Though this hotel is conveniently located just minutes walk away from Takajima-Koen Station, we doubt we’ll ever stay back at the hotel ever again. A negative impression has been created since the moment we checked into the hotel and nothing has changed throughout our stay there.

Perfect stay for 3 days with family. Rich variety of different breakfast. Onsen is awesome.

Although the size of double bedroom is small, but the breakfast and the hot springs facilities are good.

Can’t say much about the area as I didn’t really explore the area but there is a convenience store nearby. Service was bad as I had to queue in line for about an hour to check in. And one of my rooms was not ready until about 10pm which is kind of unacceptable. And I love the fact that proper full amenities were provided like big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Location is very convenient and I love the hot spring very much!

Super tiny, business hotel level, not recommended for family trip. There is big bath place with tiny outdoor. Near Nakasuna park.

The bath is a hot spring, and the washing area is spacious, so you can relax. The nearest station is Nakajima Park Station, which may seem a little inconvenient, but I was able to walk to Susukino, so it didn't actually feel inconvenient. For breakfast, I recommend the seafood bowl in the photo. Please note that it is limited in quantity. There was seafood at the buffet, but the variety was limited.

The cups in the bathroom didn't hold water and splashed all over the place. Maybe it was the way the cups were made? Also, the buffet breakfast was very satisfying with a wide selection of items❗It would have been nice if they'd put a tray on the counter✨ The room was spacious and comfortable❗

The breakfast is great, with Japanese, Western and garden breakfasts, and a large bath.

It's a little inconvenient if you go out for dinner because it's far from Susukino, but it has a large public bath (natural hot spring), so I think it's a great hotel for those who want to enjoy a hot spring as well. I stayed here once two years ago, and the hot spring water had a strong chlorine smell. I suspect this is because they strengthened the disinfection measures after an incident at a hot spring inn in Kyushu where Legionella bacteria was detected after the frequency of changing the water was reduced. In reality, a free-flowing hot spring is best, but if it smells of chlorine, it just doesn't feel like a hot spring.

I always use this facility when I come to Sapporo. The hot springs are very relaxing and I'm grateful for them. Thank you!
