I flew to Hokkaido on a last-minute basis and didn't book Chalet Ivy last year. I booked the Suizantei Main Building based on the ratings. I was a little uneasy after seeing the negative reviews on the circle of friends, but I was very satisfied with the result. The service was warm, the rooms and lobby were renovated, and the cypress private bath was perfect with the heavy snow in the morning. The grilled food is just right with rice Rotenburo: I arrived at 16:00 and it was not introduced.
