We stayed here for Orioles/Pirates spring training games – March 6 -14, 2023 Here is what we encountered: Running toilet. Broken window curtain pull. Drains in bathroom & sink ran slow. Toilet paper dispenser loose and almost falling off the wall. Towels and washcloths were super thin. Same breakfast every day – Egg cheese omelet (small) & sausage, mini-muffins, two kinds of cereal, but skim milk only – no whole milk. One kind of yogurt and waffles. No toast or bagels. There for 8 days – no change. Ended up eating at Dunkin Donuts or The Waffle House across the street. Broken umbrella (the only one) and broken lounge chair at the pool. Lack of drawer space. Poor lighting and no HD TV. Carpets left your feet dirty. In need of a deep cleaning. Your feet were black after walking on the carpet. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Hallway smelled like curry. Appeared that people were living at the hotel and there were always people loitering around the front entrance to the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL. Friendly and accommodating housekeeping staff, but they had a tough job keeping up and truly need to find a better place to work.

My overnight auditor Dekida has truly shown me premier customer service. Awesome attitude and very courteous. Offering me free water and the option to have a suite with a king size bed for a really great price compared to other rooms. My actual suite was also great to be in! Very cozy and spacious. And for checking out, Kirsten was excellent as well. Highly recommend anyone stopping by in town and in need of a place to stay!

Siesta Key Palms Resort

This is truly a tropical paradise. Driving up to the property, you'd never imagine what is behind the wall of palms/greenery that surrounds the resort. It's a small property (approximately 20 rooms??) but packs a HUGE punch and gives you the vibe that you're in Jamaica at an exclusive tiki resort. It is magical at night with all the twinkle lights overhead, meandering pathways, and firepits. There is an ice machine, communal washer/dryer, screened-in room for games/shade, a small BBQ area with table and chairs, covered tiki huts for shade, plenty of loungers and hammocks, two pools (one adults only), a public restroom near the main pool, yard games such as tic-tac-toe and cornhole, beach chairs for borrow, books for borrow, bikes for borrow, an outdoor shower for rinsing after the pool, on and on. We were in a Key Suite which was 450 sq ft with a full kitchen. The room looked lik it was recently renovated with updated flooring and granite countertops and had plenty of room for three adults. There was one king bed and a pull-out sofa. The bathroom is small but we made do. Isaac at the front desk was very helpful at check-in and offered recommendations and explained the property. I didn't realize how much I would LOVE this little resort. Location is perfect. You're one mile from the bridge that brings you over to Siesta Key (south side). If you go, you will know!!

Hotel location is very good, close to the beach, just a few minutes walk, the environment is very good, the front desk is very intimate, has its own parking space, the room has simple cooking utensils, highly recommended resort hotel.
