The hotel's pictures on Ctrip were rather basic, and the exterior looked rather plain. However, the interior was actually much nicer than the previous two hotels, and it even had a lounge for guests, offering drinks, tea, and beer. The dinner buffet also featured various alcoholic beverages; elsewhere, even beer is free. The dinner selection was plentiful, the steak was delicious, and there was a very thinly sliced ​​fish fillet that only needed to be cooked in the soup for a couple of seconds – incredibly fresh. The hotel is next to the pier, making it convenient for boat tours.

The staff was polite and friendly. Although the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service, it's still easily accessible by taxi from the station. During checkout, the staff was also very helpful in calling a taxi. Breakfast and dinner were both buffet-style and delicious. Note, however, that the main building doesn't have a swimming pool. The Kujukushima Aquarium is within walking distance.

All the staff were friendly, and the dinner and breakfast buffets were good.

The hotel is a bit far from Sasebo, but fortunately there are regular shuttle buses from the station, which is very convenient. The hotel itself is next to the 99-island pier, which is convenient for taking a cruise. The room is relatively large and well-received.

I was happy that the guests' lounge offered all-you-can-drink soft drinks and beer (beer was only available at certain times).

I chose this hotel because it's near the Kujukushima sightseeing boat area, and even though the existing reviews aren't great, it was a pleasant surprise, and I highly recommend it. First, there's a shuttle bus to the hotel. There's no timetable on Ctrip, but it's much faster and easier than public transportation. Before 8 PM, wait at the bus stop to the left after exiting the west gate of Sasebo Station. After 8 PM, go to the bus stop outside the east gate. The minibus has the hotel name posted on the window; you have to find it yourself. The hotel receptionist's English is so-so. I booked a tatami room, which was indeed quite old, but it was spacious—the only 22-square-meter room I stayed in during this trip for the price of a budget hotel. There were only electrical outlets for the TV and refrigerator. The hotel has a natural hot spring bath. Free drinks are usually available in the lobby, self-service from machines.

This is a very old hotel, very quiet and not very popular. The rooms are said to have been renovated and still feel very old. The only thing that I praise the most is the large bathhouse. It may be because there are not many guests in the hotel.
