Great location and walking distance to all major attractions. Nice bar located directly in the hotel, didn’t purchase the breakfast.

An average hotel with not much services.

We stayed in a nice ground floor room with patio. The room was comfortable and large and so was the bathroom. There were 2 chairs and a table on the patio. This room is at the back so no noise issues at all. The hotel has parking for an extra fee. We did not take breakfast.

Twenty five years ago we stayed at this hotel, and on a trip down memory lane we thought we would stay there again on our mini road trip. From start to finish it was a great experience. Yes the hotel has changed but it is so much better now. (what a surprise after such a long time) To start with, the follow up from the staff after booking was great. We asked for restaurant recommendations during our stay and both recommendations were great. They were even booked by the hotel for us. (Special mention for Vincent) The hotel is superbly located for a visit to Saumur, the Chateau, shops and Equestrian Museum. In fact a great center for a visit to the Loire Valley. The hotel is now a modern styled hotel but retains original character across its bedrooms and public areas. For a city hotel the rooms are more than adequate with space and comfort. Ours overlooked the main road but we had no noise at night and had the luxury of air-con. The breakfasts were very good with the option to eat outside on a terrace, which was also open in the evening for drinks. Secure parking is available which we found very convenient. This is a hotel we will be returning to, it was such a good stop for us. All the staff were attentive helpful and friendly, but I would mention Vincent again for his friendliness and accommodating nature.

Reckon we got the second worst room in the hotel, Room 111. But only after we’d been moved from the worst. Not really too much to say about the hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful. Room was a matchbox.

Very nice hotel, conveniently located. Very good rooms. Great breakfast and also private parking space for the car.

This is a modern hotel with nice sized rooms a bit on the spartan side. It offers a self-serve breakfast which leaves a bit to be desired. The location is very good as it is on walking distance to attractions, restaurants and department stores. Even though our room gave to the main street, the windows kept the noise away. The air conditioned is super quiet. There is a tiny elevator but the hotel is definitely a good three-star one. Be warned about the height to get into and out of the bathtub for a shower, and that it is very slippery.
