The hotel doesn’t look anything special from the outside but inside the views are incredible. Our sea view room with a balcony (110) was perfect; super comfy bed, tea/ coffee facilities, toiletries, a lovely big bathroom with a bath and shower and a lush balcony overlooking the beach. We had evening meal in the restaurant which was very tasty but also very small; it was basically like having 3 starters instead of 3 courses. Breakfast was lovely looking out at the sea, with lots of choice and hot food that could be ordered. The spa was a real treat; helpful staff and a small pool with an incredible view, a lovely chill out zone. I understand why you only get 90 minutes to make sure that it is a comfortable area to enjoy. A lovely hotel with friendly staff that is well worth a visit.

Spa was to cold to use, spent 15 minutes in on arrival, I did ask the staff if I could get a refund as I payed for two nights. Room was run down dirty with mold on walls. Bathroom I cleaned as there was urine stains on the loo and floor, bath was full of hair and mold. Breakfast was cooked in advanced so cold and bland.

My wife and I stayed a night on a stop-over during an 8 day cycling trip. Reception was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a bit small, but well-appointed and very clean. Outstanding views everywhere! We got a couple's massage in their double treatment room. The massages were exceptional! We also enjoyed the pool and all of the other fun options in the spa. The breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff outstanding.

After visiting the hotel twice since its reopening, unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing. During our first visit, no staff member approached us to take our order in the Gallery. We ended up placing our order at the bar, only to be told that the prices listed on the menu were outdated and would not be honored. The food was below average, and one dish didn’t match its menu description. Our second visit was even more underwhelming. While searching for a clean table, the only one available had not been cleaned. Despite waiting for 15 minutes, we had to flag down a waiter who appeared ready to walk past us without any acknowledgment. We ordered two cappuccinos, each priced at £5.45, and were surprised to find a service charge added on top—despite the poor service. It’s truly disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in standards. This venue has so much potential, given its fantastic location, but sadly it’s being let down by the current level of service.

Attended a spa day during with what seemed the over hang of the renovation. The car park was full on arrival and the empty spaces had furniture or cones restricting parking for guests. The spa day was lacklustre again the renovations where still going on; the floors were dusty, workmen where in and out, and the relaxation room had a view of the workmen finishing off their renovation, and naturally loud drilling noises that came with the work wasn’t relaxing at all I cut my spa facilities time short and told reception why, but they just seemed dismissive of my feedback. The treatment was ok, but wasn’t allocated a locker I had to give my bag to reception who stored it up there so felt like a chore to ask for access to my bag to get things out of it. Shame as my expectations exceeded reality. Wouldn’t visit again.

We have just returned from staying overnight in st brides and we were very disappointed. We have been looking to stay at st brides for some time thinking it would be an incredible place to stay but it was a pretty disappointing experience. We had a suite which overlooked the stunning sea views of Saundersfoot, the room itself on first glance was gorgeous but when you looked closer, it was actually pretty awful. A clump of hair was on the bathroom floor, totally don’t understand how this wasn’t noticed by the cleaning team as it was very obvious, the bath had hair and “bits” all over it. The wall around the bath had random holes in it, the balcony itself was scruffy and run down. The restaurant was very disappointing, we had a 3 course dinner included within our stay, all food came out quite cold, the food itself was very average and small portions, the menu selection wasn’t the best, very small variety, the desert selection was tiny and nearly everything had a supplementary cost so even though our dinner was “included”, we had to pay an additional £50 just to have what we wanted and the drinks were very pricey too. The breakfast the next morning was actually quite poor, when we arrived to breakfast at the time slot they allocated to us, the continental buffet option was near to empty, there were no pastries in the basket and nearly all fruit was gone, we were already half way into our cooked breakfast by the time the it was topped up. The biggest con off all is that you can only visit the spa once during your stay so when we wanted to go again the next morning, this was out of the question. The spa itself had building works going on all around you, building materials just left everywhere and just totally unsightly. The spa was quite rough and ready, just lots of unfinished details, cement on blocks on show, silicone all over the tiles, just very untidy and lack of attention to detail. The total cost of our stay amounted to £695………. For one night stay, a 3 course meal, 1 bottle of the cheapest wine that was on the menu and 2 pints. I really don’t think it’s very good value for money at all. I don’t mind paying more if it’s worth it and it was going to be a treat but it wasn’t the case at all. We feel totally robbed. I notice that st brides is now part of the Celtic collection, we haven’t long stayed in the Celtic manor only a month ago and had very similar experience so it didn’t shock me that this poor service and quality of stay was across the board, really disappointing as we were very much looking forward to this stay and have been for some time.
