DoubleTree by Hilton Savannah Airport

I was disgusted to see mold around the top of the bathtub. Also, I noticed the room had not been vacuumed as it should have been - there were toenail clippings between the two beds by the nightstand, and they weren't mine! Gross!!

Called for like a good hour and the phone just rang and rang. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Thankfully when I finally managed to arrive someone was at the front desk.

Our room wasn’t clean bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor bed had us hurting all night wasn’t comfortable at all

I made 2 reservations a month prior to our arrival. We drove 10 hours and arrived at this hotel around 10:15p, only to be told the front desk representative only saw one of our reservations. She basically informed me they were overbooked and there was nothing she could do. I immediately accepted the one room and called **********. After about an hour on the phone with ********** the representative was able to contact the hotel directly and luckily got the night auditor who informed the ********** representative that he showed both reservations as being checked into (we were only in one). He wasn’t sure what happened with the prior front desk representative but he was able to get us into our other room (around 11:30/11:45p). It appeared the prior front desk representative had alternate plans for our second room, but thankfully Daryl (night auditor and ********** resolved the issue).

I had trouble with getting to the hotel via airport shuttle, i have waited 50 min for the transport, I suspect it was not called on time even though I personally called the front desk when shuttle was needed In AM I decided to take an Uber instead to make sure I do not miss my flight

Parking was easy and perfect, they are amidst remodeling, so there is evidence everywhere and the distinct smell of paint

No snacks and or food available on sight. Everything was out of stock and vending machines were apparently removed. Had to go out for anything to eat.

The hotel was thr perfect stay after a long day of traveling and an early flight the next morning. The staff was polite, the facilities were clean, and we had a great night's rest. Thank you 😊
