The place was very nice, clean, and my room had the view of the water. It was at the end so I came out the door made a left right on to the river walk. I only had breakfast on the rooftop it was very good and get with the house bread.

Our Experience at Thompson Savannah Thompson Savannah was the perfect little getaway for our anniversary weekend! The environment inside the hotel was lovely and we loved being able to have our fur baby with us with no restrictions based on his breed or size. The staff at Thompson Savannah was amazing and even after having an issue with our key cards an hour after checking in the team made our stay a welcoming, relaxing one! As far as the amenities, the hotel had multiple restaurant and bar options and a bakery. The food was pretty decent at the three restaurants. There was also live music at specific hours which was a perfect addition. The hotel location is perfect if you want to be far enough away from the main streets to avoid traffic but close enough to be able to walk to the River Street and the marketplace in a few minutes. The view from the 11th floor was mesmerizing as you can see the whole river street, port and buildings! The only thing I wish that could have been better was the pool area as the pool itself was small and the areas surrounding the pool gave us the feeling of overcrowding due to the number of furniture and the tighter space. Even with less than 10 people in the pool, the whole pool area felt very overcrowded. We ended up not using the pool due to our own personal decision as we were looking for a more relaxed environment to celebrate our anniversary in. Other than that, it is a great hotel to stay at during your visit to Savannah!
