We recently stayed at this location for two nights. The hotel staff is very friendly and is very protective. They are maintaining hygiene and are sanitizing the rooms and check-in area regularly. The rooms were clean and well sanitized and the surrounding is well lit and feels safe.

Jerry lean is a great lady who cares about the guests. She is as sweet as the brown sugar she brought to me and several others during our stay while filming a civil war project- the corporate Marriott took away the brown sugar and replaced that with if you can believe it , graham crackers ! So jerrylean bought a small back for us of brown sugar for the oatmeal ! Great people at the front desk and god housekeeping services as well!!

The Bluff is a nice hotel for a few days stay. It’s a little further from the river shopping and restaurant area, but an easy walk. The front desk staff during the day was great and always helpful. We didn’t have housekeeping, which was fine, but the coffee pods were only provided a few at a time which meant we had to ask for them daily. The hot breakfast was average, but plentiful and also offered fruit and yogurt. The highlight of the hotel is TerriLove who drives the shuttle van, we rode with her numerous times and she was always accessible, pleasant and provided information about the area. She is awesome and we looked forward to seeing her on our rides to restaurants and back.

Room was fine …clean and quiet. Check in process left a lot to be desired. I am a Hilton Honors member and checked in in advance on the app. I selected a room on the quiet side of the hotel on the 4th floor so it would be quiet. I think I said we’d arrive at 4:00pm. We actually arrived at 5:00 and the front desk clerk said our room hadn’t been cleaned. She offered us a room on the 1st floor but that’s generally noisy so I asked when our room would be ready. She didn’t know and actually said that maybe the room was clean but just not marked as such. I asked if she could inquire. She said she couldn’t. So we said we’d wait. After about 20 minutes with no update I said I’d go up to the floor and see if the room had been cleaned. I found the cleaning person …she hadn’t done our room but cheerfully said she’d do it next and let the front desk know. So after another 20-30 minutes our room was ready. When we finally checked in the front desk clerk forgot to offer us our Hilton Honors water so I had to ask. I get it that it’s not the most exciting job but a bit more focus on customer service would be nice.

Our organization enjoyed a quick trip to Savannah for our start-of-year meeting, and it was made even better by the accommodations provided at the Andaz Hotel. The sleeping rooms, meeting space, food, and service were all above our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel for a perfect Savannah location and experience.

Soooooooo this is a 3-star hotel as far as level of service and amenities, and that's fair enough. I always try to keep in mind what level of service is to be expected before I review the service I've received, because that does matter to me. In an ideal world, every hotel would provide 5-star service and a 5-star experience. This hotel could get there, but probably not until the staffing shortages are resolved. Overall we were pleased with our stay here. There were 6 of us staying in one suite with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch. It felt a little crowded at times when we were all in the room, but on the plus side, those who slept on the pullout couch said it was actually comfortable, when it had looked anything but. That bed had no sheets on it, though, and we had to call down to have sheets sent up when we were ready for bed and realized there were none. Sheets arrived promptly, but had holes in them, arrggh. Also, we realized our first night the AC left something to be desired, especially with 6 people in one room. It felt like the AC was struggling to keep up all night. Previous reviewers who mentioned the street noise is difficult to ignore were right -- I had a lot of trouble falling asleep the first night because of traffic noise. After that I used earplugs and slept peacefully. The concierge (Marie) was very helpful in getting us all set with our trolley tour tickets and in recommending restaurants nearby. The reception desk staff were doing their very best overall but seemed overwhelmed at times and could be curt when someone asked a question. We somehow had not been told that rooms wouldn't be serviced unless we called housekeeping to specifically request service. So after a long, brutally hot day of touring, we came back to still-full trash cans and a still-dirty towels. However both times we called and asked for extra towels, a kind, smiling man delivered a stack of fluffy, clean towels within 5 minutes. The pool area is quite small, so if one family or group sets up camp and claims it early on, you may be out of luck. It would be weird to try to muscle in there at the same time. Some pool peeps went into the elevator literally dripping wet, which was unsafe as well as gross, but that could have been because there are no towels provided at the pool. NOTE #1: This is why hotel employees dislike some guests intensely. Don't do stuff like that, y'all. It creates more work for staff that are already stretched thin. Use your noggin and dry off first! Anyhoo, the breakfast spread is pretty good -- hardboiled eggs and turkey sausage and potato /pepper /onion hash on weekdays, scrambled egg and pork sausage on weekends, plus every day there's 2 rotating waffle irons, bagels, breads and a toaster, some packaged pastries, plus cereals, yogurt and hot oatmeal (not steel-cut) and toppings for it. Hot coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby which is very helpful for getting a second wind to go out again at night. NOTE #2: The lobby's large breakf
