Still beaming from one of the best vacations in my life. After reading the reviews, I knew I had to go here for my 50th birthday. Best decision ever. The views and environment was beyond expectations. Feels like you are in the remote jungle environment but steps away from the bustle of the main square. The pictures online do not give the place justice. Have to see it with your own eyes. Rooms were comfortable, roomy, extremely clean and peaceful. Small enough place for comfort but still loved meeting new people all there with the same idea about this place- peace and calm. Best six days in my life. What really makes this place outstanding is Raphael and the staff. So thoughtful and clearly focused on making your time memorable. Even before we got there, he was helpful with transportation, making reservations for my friends and family and while we were there, he was also great with recommendations and making arrangements for massages, yoga and tequila tasting. He is the star of the place! Things to consider before you go: 1. This is not the place for you if you are here to party - its small, calm and relaxing. If you are needing a lot entertainment and activities or loud as hell, this place is not for you. 2. Take advantage of the services that are offered on site that you can pay for - massages, yoga classes, Tequila experience. All were wonderful and fit with the theme of the environment. 3. This is located up on a steep hill - not too bad of a walk but if you have knee or stamina issues, might be a trek daily. 4. Do get a golf cart. My parents are older and it was fine, but after a few days of up and down the hill, the cart was a welcomed addition. Not expensive either. 5. Wear comfortable shoes (no heels), relaxed clothing and bring sunscreen (even though its provided on site). Already starting ton think when I can return to Anjali Casa Divina. Sayulita is a great place. though we were there during a busy time, I still felt like the beaches were amazing and the locals so great to talk to about the place. This is a small, safe low key place- explore the entire city- great local food, shops and music venues. Live like a local. If you need a Big Mac daily or don't understand that you are in Mexico and not everyone speaks English, do not travel here and be annoying.
