"A very friendly atmosphere, staff amazing and the hotel was in a very convenient location. The rooms were very spacious with lovely large windows and natural light. Public transport was close by, a carpark accessible from the hotel and the most amazing restaurant next door, and cafe around the corner. We will definitely be making this our go to hotel when visiting Melbourne CBD. Thank you for a very economical and comfortable stay."

"The environment and location are very good, the facilities in the house are also complete, and the space is sufficient. The cleanliness of the house needs to be improved, the floor is dusty, and the bathtub is not clean and has stains. Shopping in the apartment is very convenient. There is a supermarket just two blocks away. I will consider this place again next time I travel. It feels like living at home."

"The whole experience is simply superb! Staffs are friendly and helpful who target to fulfil all of our requests as much as possible! Location is also good, near to trams, close to queen victoria market. Only pity is we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the facilities!!"

"The room was not bad. Maybe there was language communication problem and it was not cleaned every day. Then on the last day, I felt that maybe they cleaned the hotel in the morning. It took two or three days to clean out the garbage bags. On the third day, the room was cleaned. There are also places to eat nearby. After passing the traffic lights after exiting the hotel, walk down and there is a very good steakhouse on the right. Foreigners eat more and the steaks are good. When you come out of the hotel, go right and turn right at the first traffic light. There is a bus. You can go to the outlets. It is very convenient to get in and out. It is close to Chinatown. The supermarket is a ten-minute walk away. There is a lot to buy. It is recommended to drag a suitcase there. Because the road has a slope...it's very difficult to walk😥Let's talk about the hotel. The living room is very practical, the room is two rooms, and the kitchen is also good. I went to Wei Ma's to buy steaks and shrimps and fried them myself. Very good too👍👍"

"Spent a little extra to upgrade to a high city view room . Well worth the extra $30 , view was great . Room large but a little tired looking ,decor dated especially the bathroom . Hard to control the temperature in the room. Bed was comfortable though and suited us for Grand Prix weekend. Would likely try another brand next time though as needing a revamp"

"I recently stayed at the Rydges Hotel on Exhibition Street in Melbourne, and I can’t fault it. It was a wonderful experience. One of the highlights was the 24/7 reception service, which made everything feel convenient and welcoming. The pool, gym, and outdoor area were excellent for a change of scenery and added to the overall comfort of my stay. In terms of amenities, the “Thank You” shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers were a nice touch—handy for my next visit. However, I did find it a little disappointing that disposable slippers and bathrobes weren’t provided, as these would have added an extra level of comfort. The bathrooms were spotless, with tiled flooring and a great showerhead that made the space feel modern and fresh. A room service menu was provided, which I thought was convenient and fairly priced, though I didn’t use it. The kitchen closed at 10:00 pm, but drinks were still available around the clock, which I appreciated. The only aspect that fell short was housekeeping. When I requested my room to be freshened up, I expected vacuumed floors, a cleaned toilet, and fresh sheets. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case, particularly on my last night when I was most looking forward to clean bedding. Overall, though, my stay at Rydges was highly enjoyable, and I’d happily return. With just a few improvements in housekeeping and small touches like slippers and robes, it would be near perfect."

"The serviced apartment is equipped with really great facilities and is modernly designed. Unfortunately, it is always booked quickly so it is hard to stay here unless booked many many months in advance. Also, the service is kinda bad here so Wi-Fi & data would be slow. There’s no check-in counter so it is quite different than any other hotels because you get escorted to your room individually."

"It’s an excellent hotel in general, beautiful lake view, close to city and tram, quiet environment. To be honest, it gives an old vibe considering the year while it’s price worthy. Pool and gym are good. Staff are nice and welcome. We left out glass cups when we checked out, when we came back they were kept. 🙏"

"I loved the location — it’s set in a comfortable part of the Docklands with a shopping centre nearby. The room and bed were very good, providing a comfortable stay. However, my only disappointment was the cleanliness: many surfaces, including the cups, had fingerprints and grease marks, which suggested a lack of proper cleaning. I ended up cleaning them myself. That said, the staff were excellent — especially at the front desk, where they were professional, welcoming, and very helpful."

The hotel's design is fresh, modern, and tech-savvy, with a buzzing lobby atmosphere. The location on Commercial Place is ideal, putting you within easy walking distance of the CBD's key areas, public transport, and Melbourne's famous laneway culture. The room, while compact (as is common for city-center hotels), was very functional, quiet, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Staff were professional and check-in/out was seamless. For those needing more space, it might be worth inquiring about a larger room category. For a solo traveler or a couple, it's perfect. I would gladly return and recommend the Quincy for its prime location, great value, and unique offering."
