Scenic Hotels in Rio de Janeiro

"The hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates. The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask. I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.  Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points. The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English.. The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared. The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids. The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open.. The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again."

"The hotel was wonderful, the employee treated us badly at first because there were problems with the reservation, I rented for just one person instead of two, then everything went well, the smell of the hotel was wonderful, the pool, the view, the room, everything was very good, the cleanliness included excellent we left and when we came back our room was extremely clean and tidy"

"Beautiful rooms and especially the bathrooms. Beds were especially nice - Firm with wonderful bedding. Very quiet. Felt like an oasis from the noise of Copa Cobana Beach. Delicious breakfast included in the room. You could order a custom- made omelet. The concierge hooked us up with a really great day tour as we were only in town for 2 days. Reasonably priced and saw a lot of things - Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mt, the stadium, Selaro Steps, where the Carnivale starts, and included a buffet lunch. Would stay again for sure!"

Besides, the receptionist Alan is also so nice to introduce what we could enjoy the traditional bbq nearby and where we could have some nice coffee beans. We really had a wonderful travel journey in Rio because of this pleasant hotel. ."

"Incredible experience, I highly recommend it! My first time at Mirasol and I will definitely be back again. Great service from reception, especially Rafael. New accommodation and facilities. Recreations operating normally: Swimming pool, sauna and gym. For breakfast, I only expected extended hours until at least 11:00, although within the waiting period. Common options, not many options. I really liked it overall."

"Staying at Miramar by Windsor Copacabana was honestly one of the best parts of my trip to Rio. The location couldn’t be better — right on Copacabana Beach, so I could just walk out and feel the energy of the city. The staff were all so kind and helpful, it really made me feel at home. And that view from the rooftop? Just amazing. I’ll never forget watching the sunset from up there."

"Great hotel with a great location - besides being on Copacabana, Ipanema is also within walking distance. The room was very clean, and you also have great French cosmetics Lóccitane for hair and body. I have no words to describe the great breakfast, which was very rich! I am very happy with my 5-day stay here and would come back again.Free chairs and umbrella on the beach.Amazing view from the bar and rooftop pool.Most delisious coffe I've had her in Rio."

"People at the converge were very nice and helpful specially Gabriel been very nice, helped us with any question and demand we had, we were so happy that he was there solved many of our problems and helped out with every thing even when our uber stopped working he was so nice taking uber from his app for us  Made our trip much more comfortable  He definitely has to be promoted by Hilton"

"Excellent location, services & amenities, clean, good bed and powerful shower. Biggest asset is the friendly and helpful staff, every single one we met. A suggestion would be to provide complimentary bottles of water and an electric kettle with coffee/tea if possible."

"The location is top-notch—right on Copacabana—with the highest pool on the 30th floor; unfortunately, the pool is very small, sometimes there are no towels; there are no changing rooms—showering and changing in the sauna is possible 😉 Recommended upgrade to super luxury, which includes breakfast in the restaurant on the 30th floor with a view of Copacabana—great. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is a pain 🥹 constantly having to reconnect—much cheaper hotels can do better 🙄"
