"We chose the two-bedroom family room, which was very comfortable. The staff were excellent and very attentive; they always helped with luggage when they saw us and promptly answered any questions. Breakfast is better if you go during off-peak hours, and all food items are clearly labeled if they are halal. There are two breakfast restaurants: one on the ground floor lobby and one on the 56th floor in the Asia Pacific building. The food is the same at both. Personally, I found the ground floor one more convenient for families like ours, but the 56th floor is worth visiting for the experience."

"Sofitel's standards are quite high; the pool and gym are excellent, and the rooms have an artistic flair. The location is superb, right in the heart of old Nanjing, just a few steps from Exit 4 of Qingchun Square Metro Station. Given how big Nanjing is, this is the most convenient place to stay if you want to visit attractions like Yuejiang Tower and the Yangtze River Bridge. The hotel restaurant is very good, and it's surrounded by a bustling commercial area with plenty of dining options, offering a wide variety to choose from. On a side note, I haven't quite figured out Sofitel's naming convention; there's Sofitel on Renmin Plaza, Sofitel Galaxy, Sofitel Sentosa, Sofitel Guangzhou, Sofitel Wanda... they all seem to have a prefix or suffix."

The thoughtful details enhanced the viewing experience, making every snapshot a perfect, filter-free masterpiece. What was even more surprising was the impeccable professional service, perfectly embodying Shangri-La's ”hospitality from the heart.” Check-in was efficient, and they patiently explained the room facilities and local attractions. The front desk assistant manager even proactively upgraded me to a lake-view room, earning instant high marks. During my stay, any request I had was quickly addressed by customer service. Housekeeping was meticulous, the daily fruit replenishment was fresh and abundant, and they even left thoughtful cards. They even noted guest preferences to adjust accordingly. The executive lounge service further showcased the hotel's warmth. Every staff member maintained a gentle and polite demeanor, neither overly intrusive nor slow to assist. This perfectly balanced service made me feel incredibly respected and comfortable. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, conveniently close to the subway for easy access, and within walking distance to Xuanwu Lake, meeting both travel and dining needs. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel offers an experience that exceeds expectations. The healing lake views and the warmth of the service perfectly blend, making you never want to leave. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Jinling (Nanjing) to rekindle this wonderful experience of lake views and heartwarming service!"

"Our stay was made truly special by Alice, our butler, whose thoughtful service impressed us from start to finish! She not only proactively upgraded our room but also prepared a beautiful, fresh fruit platter for us in advance – such a warm and considerate touch. Alice patiently shared detailed and practical tips for exploring the area, from walking routes around Xuanwu Lake to the specialty snacks at Shiziqiao Food Street. Her advice saved us a lot of trouble. The room itself was high-end and fully equipped, with a Dyson hairdryer and a supremely comfortable bed. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views of Xuanwu Lake and the city skyline; whether it was the scenic lake and mountains by day or the sparkling city lights at night, the visual experience was absolutely stunning. The hotel's central location also made it incredibly convenient. Both the facilities and service were impeccable. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Nanjing!"

"The room was quite spacious with a great view of Xuanwu Lake and the city. The service was excellent; staff were very responsive to our needs. The ladies at check-in and check-out were also very enthusiastic. The only minor drawback is that perhaps because it's an older, well-established hotel, some facilities are a bit dated, and the carpet is showing its age. However, this didn't really affect our stay. I just hope the drinks in the mini-fridge could be complimentary for guests, especially since it's a Marriott property – a little more generosity would be nice!"

From some of the view rooms, you can open the window and take in the shimmering beauty of Baijia Lake, with its sparkling waters perfectly complementing the city skyline. The visual experience is truly spectacular. What's more, there are numerous shopping malls and a bustling atmosphere all around. Whether you're looking to shop till you drop or explore diverse culinary delights, you'll have no trouble finding entertainment or dining options. During check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and highly efficient, quickly getting us all settled. The room itself was clean, tidy, and cozily and comfortably furnished. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, allowing us to truly unwind and get some much-needed rest. While the hotel doesn't have a gym, the lively surroundings and convenient transportation actually encourage you to step out, explore the city, soak in the local ambiance, and get some exercise simultaneously. Overall, thanks to its prime location, comfortable accommodation, and those delightful lake views, our stay here was truly memorable. It's perfectly suited for anyone looking to enjoy some relaxing time away."

"We booked an extended stay after checking in! Extremely satisfied! 👍🏻 Hehe, ignore how messy we were, haha. We stayed overnight at the zoo, and the staff arranged a room for us on the 29th floor when we returned. The water pressure was great, and showering was super refreshing! The heating was also very strong! We woke up in the morning to find the blankets were pulled off! The room had a washing machine and refrigerator, which were readily available. There were plenty of power outlets, so charging wasn't a problem. Disposable toiletries were provided. The view from the window was amazing, with a panoramic view of Xuanwu Lake. Plus, it's very close to the subway station! Ordering takeout is also very convenient! We'll definitely come back to Nanjing in the summer! It was fantastic!"

"This March, I stayed at the Nanjing Xuanwu Hotel for the first time while visiting Nanjing, and it was a fantastic experience. Especially noteworthy was the breakfast on the 20th floor, which starts at 6:30 AM, allowing you to pick a great spot to watch the sunrise over Xuanwu Lake. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to Metro Station Exit 1, and you can simply cross the street to take a leisurely stroll to the Xuanwu Lake scenic area. The night I checked in happened to be the 16th day of the ***** month, so the moon was very large, and I enjoyed a beautiful walk along the lake. The next morning, I savored breakfast while watching the sunrise. The breakfast was very plentiful with a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, a standard international five-star breakfast setup. While the hotel's furnishings may not be as contemporary as those in newer hotels, the cleanliness and tidiness were impeccable. It has that classic charm of an old five-star hotel – I would suggest upgrading the TVs to newer models that can connect to mobile devices."

"This airport hotel offers great value for money. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and the check-in process was simple and fast. The room was clean and bright, with soft and breathable bedding. The location is excellent, very close to the terminal with a thoughtfully designed indoor walkway. It was quiet inside, largely undisturbed by outside noise. The infrastructure is well-equipped, and the Wi-Fi is stable and fast. It's an ideal hotel for business travelers."
