"Overall, a great stay! They offer a generous afternoon tea with seasonal fruits, fennel beans, and a pot of yellow wine, which gives it a wonderful local flavor. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and both the mini wontons and 'mien bobo' (steamed buns) were delicious. The location is excellent, with the front facing the street and the back opening onto the river; there's even a spot where you can sit by the river and enjoy the breeze. My only minor complaint is that the room window was a bit small and faced the street, limiting the view. Also, the dog barking at night was a bit noisy."

"The room was very clean and spacious, with good lighting. The service was excellent; the front desk even provided hot bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious. Located in the city center near Wolong Mountain, the Shaoxing Hotel (Shaoxing Fandian) is a beautiful garden-style hotel located only an eight-minute drive from the railway station. Guests of this Shaoxing hotel can enjoy local cuisine at the on-site restaurants. There are also eight conference halls and an international conference center for business travelers to organize events.
"I originally booked the Kuaiyuan building, but since there weren't two connecting rooms available, they upgraded me to a deluxe king room in the Fushan Yue building. Being in the new building, all the facilities were very modern and new, completely unlike an old hotel. The room itself was great overall; the only thing missing was a full-length mirror, which would have made it even better. The breakfast is in the main building and features a dedicated Shaoxing snack station. I particularly loved the preserved vegetable pancake – highly recommend it! For the travel photoshoot, only one person per room gets complimentary makeup and styling. Since we were traveling together, we paid an extra 180 RMB per person for additional styling. The makeup artist was quite skilled, and the light makeup looked beautiful with the Qipao. If I ever visit Shaoxing again, I'd definitely choose Shaoxing Hotel!"

"Pros: This is an economy hotel. The location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly convenient for visiting various attractions nearby, very close to Shaoxing Station and the subway. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast is abundant; though it's all basic fare, there's both Chinese and Western options, and a full selection of drinks and yogurt. The rooftop outdoor dining area is very comfortable. Cons: The upgraded rooms (those ending in 10 or 11) have huge pillars inside. Guests planning to stay here should either decline the upgrade or book a higher-grade room. The 'Quiet Elegant King Room (no window)' is extremely small, so small that if the bathroom door is open, you can't walk past it. The bathroom itself is also tiny, with no separate wet and dry areas, and the shower controls are a bit peculiar, making showering inconvenient. Double Self-Service Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea is self-serve in the lobby. There's a dried vegetable pastry (gan cai su bing) that was delicious; I even bought more from a scenic spot later to take home."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Jiemin Library and Yaohan, with a subway station nearby. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Shaoxing North. If you order takeout, a robot delivers it to your room. The hotel facilities are quite new, but across the street, there's what seems to be a bar street or food stall area. I could hear the singing very clearly at night, luckily it stopped by 8:30 PM, otherwise, I would have been in trouble... haha. Overall, it's pretty good. During off-peak season, the average price of 350 RMB per night can be considered good value for money."

"Before choosing a B&B, I prioritized convenience and sanitation, so I chose this one in Shaoxing based on my travel guide. The atmosphere was immediately appealing. From the entrance to the room, there was a light, camphorwood scent that was quite pleasant, without any stuffiness. They also provided mosquito repellent, so there was no need to worry about mosquitoes. The soundproofing and service were excellent, and the manager was very helpful. You could ask her anything you needed, and she even gave you a small gift. There's a restaurant next door, perfect for a simple, affordable home-style meal. We had a train to catch, so we ate right there. The various attractions are also quite close to the B&B. Some are within walking distance, others within a 15-minute taxi ride, and the farthest is about half an hour away. You can simply take a taxi directly to the B&B, and there's no need to wait outside in the heat. Overall, it was a great experience."

I traveled from Shanghai to Shaoxing and arrived before 11 AM, but they still arranged for me to check in. The front desk staff enthusiastically recommended local delicacies and attractions. Any issues I encountered during my stay were promptly resolved. On my last day, they kindly reminded me about the check-out time, and even offered us bottled water as we were leaving. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, but the service is even more attentive and thoughtful. The hotel is also within walking distance to various attractions, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a very pleasant stay overall."

Conversations in the corridor could be heard quite clearly, and noises from the neighboring room, such as showering, were also noticeable. This might be something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. That said, the good service really stood out, and overall it offers good value for money."

The hotel environment made me feel like I had entered another era. Sitting by the window overlooking the river, drinking tea and daydreaming was wonderful.
