"1. The location is excellent, very close to the shopping malls on Orchard Road. Since we were traveling with elderly people and children, we took taxis everywhere to minimize walking. It took us until the third day to realize that exiting directly from the front door would lead us closer to the main shopping street. 2. The hotel facilities are quite old, and the rooms show their age. In room 330, where we stayed, the bathtub had a leaking pipe. We reported it to housekeeping, but nothing was done. Despite being old, the beds are very large. We booked a room with one king-size bed and one single bed, which was very accommodating for a family with two children, especially when traveling with seniors. There was plenty of space for everyone. The hotel has a peculiar smell; if you're sensitive to odors, I'd recommend requesting a room change early. 3. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water, but you can buy it at the front desk for S$2 a bottle, which is slightly cheaper than 7-Eleven. Most of the front desk staff speak English. I'm not sure if it's because we're Chinese, but when we checked in, Korean guests were given high-floor rooms, while we were assigned a very low room on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor itself isn't a problem, but lower-floor rooms tend to have a smell. If this bothers you, it's best to mention it in advance. We arrived in Singapore past 2 AM, so we were too tired and just wanted to rest, so we didn't bother discussing it with the front desk. I had also requested 'no corner room' when booking, but we were given the very last room on the floor, so the request was completely ignored. 4. The hotel has a swimming pool, which is quite convenient, with two pools – one deep and one shallow. Overall, it offers good value for money, with large rooms and an excellent location. If you don't mind the potential odor on lower floors, the outdated facilities, and the somewhat average service, it's still a very cost-effective choice (especially since we were out all day and only returned to sleep at night)."

"It's quite clean and offers private spaces, perfect for backpackers who need a quiet rest. The space might look small, but it's actually sufficient. The location is a bit far from the subway station, but still manageable. There are many restaurants nearby. The only slight issue was that it was hard to find a trash can."

"so far i stayed here, the service was good, the room not too clean and the room quite small. they didn’t provide iron & iron board, but you need to go downstairs at level 4 to iron your clothes. they also have a self service laundry at the level 4. the hotel is near to the mrt station (lavender station) and the attraction places. and also, it is easy to get halal food. for those who have a budget for your trip, i’ll recommend to stay at this hotel 👍🏻"

"It is a nice hotel and located very strategically. Its easy to go anywhere as it is within walking distance to 2 MRT systems (Dhoby Gaut & Somerset) and plenty of buses. Big malls such as orchard, Singapura Plaza, and Takashiyama is also just a stone away. The place itself is clean, and proper. Good for a short gateaway."

"Friendly stuff, great location, washing machines and tumble dryers are free to use. The coffee machine in the stylish lounge is free to use too. The only thing was not so enjoyful is that one of the drainage got blocked in the shower room at one night and there were no staff help me to fix it and I had to finish the shower with my feet covered in about a-inch deep dirty water, maybe the hostel can leave some tools in the shower so the guests can fix the drainage by themselves when it's needed."

"The location is excellent, though the room was a bit small. We booked for three people, and my child absolutely loved the bunk bed design. Overall, everything was great and it offered good value for money. We even saw little birds while having breakfast. Breakfast was decent; the menu basically rotated every other day, but it had all the essentials. The service was also good."

"Our room was upgraded, and we even had a mini photo-op session with the staff in their lovely Christmas decorations at the lobby. We were also able to register and received a free attraction in Sentosa. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathtub. The water wouldn’t fill up because the cover wasn’t properly sealed, so I ended up wasting the bath bombs I bought. 😔 Also, the cups were not washed at all! I saw a lipstick stain on one of them when I was about to drink coffee. 🥵 Anyway, the view was nice and kind of relaxing."

"The spring water pool is great! There's a 7-Eleven downstairs and a free buggy stop, and the beach is just across the road. The location is excellent, though the room facilities are a bit old and the air conditioning is very noisy. There are squirrels, peacocks, and monitor lizards on the hotel grounds... very interesting."
