Comfort Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport

Environment: The exterior looks unremarkable, and it's not clear where the entrance is. However, once inside, the facilities are quite well-maintained. There's ample parking right in front of the hotel for $20 a night. Cleanliness: If you don't request otherwise, housekeeping is done every three days and is very thorough. Service: The front desk staff are generally very friendly. Check-in was quick, and all fees were disclosed upfront. The credit card deposit was refunded within two business days.

The room was spacious, the towels were clean, and the breakfast was abundant. The restaurant staff were very kind and helpful; knowing we arrived after midnight and that some of our party wouldn't make it to breakfast before 9 AM, they even gave us three takeout boxes. What was really frustrating was the free shuttle bus. We arrived at O'Hare Airport T5 at 11 PM on the 10th. We called to book the shuttle and were told it would arrive in 15-20 minutes. After waiting for over an hour, it still hadn't shown up. When we called the front desk, they repeatedly said it was 'on its way' due to 'traffic issues.' Eventually, we couldn't wait any longer and took a taxi to the hotel ourselves, which only took 8 minutes and there was no traffic. So, the '24-hour free shuttle bus' service is really a sham. Aside from the shuttle bus, everything else was fine. It's a good choice for a one-night layover, just don't count on the shuttle bus. A taxi at night costs about $45, and in the morning to the airport it's around $15.

Exceeded expectations! The price was excellent, the room was spacious, and it came with full amenities, plus a free airport shuttle.
