Falkensteiner Hotel Schladming

We had a fantastic stay at Falkensteiner in Schladming. The hotel looks even better in person than in the photos. The wellness area is amazing, and the food with our half board exceeded all expectations. Every staff member was extremely polite and helpful. A special highlight was the Herbstcard, which gave us free access to the cable car and several local attractions. Highly recommended!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and always loved the excellent breakfast and dinner with many options, including gluten-free and vegan choices. We were there during the holidays and the hotel was full, but everything was still very clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly, always making you feel truly welcome. One of the reasons we like to come back is lunch at the bar, we love the Wiener schnitzel and veggie bowl, but unfortunately these were not available this time. Instead, the only option was frankfurter sausages with fries, with no vegetarian or sweet options, which was not on the level of a 4-star superior hotel, especially considering the price of almost €700 per night. After a day of skiing it would be great to have a proper lunch at the hotel. We hope the schnitzel and veggie bowl will return to the menu, as we would love to come back.

Wonderful week. Hotel was great, food was amazing, staff very pleasant and helpful and made you feel at home. Could possibly have done with a car to travel to main attraction s, but overall a wonderful time

Fantastic stay at FalkenSteiner — outstanding staff and great location We had a fantastic stay at the FalkenSteiner. The hotel has a slight James Bond charm and the whole experience felt special. The location is very convenient and the weather during our visit was perfect! Special mention to the bar area — a lovely space to relax in the evening. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and our waiter Dietmar deserves huge praise: attentive, friendly, and always made us chuckle. His service really made our stay memorable. Overall: excellent staff, great location, tasty food, and a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

An excellent, I would say a 5 star hotel with outstanding food, service, accommodation air conditioned, great spa and beautiful views. Thank you for a gratis upgrade! Especially thank you to Kerstin, Marijo and Simon (the spa) plus two mail waiters (sorry I am not sure about their names), who made my stay memorable and catered to all my requests.

A stunning hotel with really welcoming staff. We arrived early and had full use of their incredible spa - one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel with sauna’s, steam rooms and a magical outdoor hot pool. The hotel also had flowers in the room as they knew we were celebrating an anniversary. Definitely recommend.

We spent in this hotel four nights with my family and we had an amazing time. The hotel has beautiful alpine design with amazing local gastronomy. The food itself is real experience. The hotel is well located with plenty of parking spaces. It offers wellness services and facilities with indoor/outdoor pool, gym and saunas etc… The only thing I was missing is jacuzzi where you can take your kid or heated pool for kids. Also some playrooms for kids would be nice too. In general we were very satisfied.

Enjoyed a few days of hiking and relaxing. Nice Spa area, good food and a well prized wine list. Shout out to our waiter Fabian for a great service and to the Saunalord Balazs for entertaining Aufgüsse.
