The room was huge with a very comfortable bed, with 6 pillows! However they were all the soft overstuffed variety and unfortunately we need the firm flatter kind (suggest that they provide a choice). We had trouble accessing the tv and gave up in the end. The disappointment of our stay was the bathroom: it was tiny with just a toilet and shower, and the washbasin was outside in the hallway leading to the bedroom. This was a very inconvenient arrangement which made us uncomfortable. The heating in the room doesn’t reach the hall and bathroom so it was chilly using the bathroom during the night. Surely with such a spacious room it would be possible to include a more conventional bathroom. However, the whole property is lovely and beautifully kept. The service was very welcoming and attentive, including an enjoyable dinner.
