Sentral Old Town

The place was in an perfect location close to a lot of stuff. Well keep clean lots to do around.

Great location near old town. Along the canal and across from the shopping mall. Parking is paid, but works well. Nice gym, great pool area. Comfy beds and very spacious apartment. Would stay again. Building has great amenities. Very upscale area. Walkable to restaurants

This is my 2nd time staying at Sentral Old Town in Scottsdale. I had previously enjoyed my stay here very much, but I will NEVER return to this hotel. I extended my stay by 1 day and was suddenly treated as if they were doing me a favor and allowing me to stay an extra day for free. 1)A cleaning crew knocked on our door at 10:22AM (when check out would have been 11AM) on the day that I prepaid to extended my stay, 2) A different cleaning lady knocked on the door at 11:30am on the same day of my prepaid extended stay, 3) and on my check out day, a cleaning lady just opened the door on us (did not even knock) at 9:23AM...again check out is 11:00AM! You don't have access to the on-site team like you would at another hotel, so, I had to wait in the Lobby for several minutes for someone to show up and help me with the issue that I encountered with the Kiosk to "check-in" for my extended stay..which resilted in me running late for my appointment. I paid full price to stay an extra day, but was treated as if it was a favor. I formally requested compensation for the unacceptable experience by way of a partial refund and the on-site team completely ignored all of my messages that were relayed to them from the off-site team. It seems that once they have your money, they do not really care. They should not run a hotel from an apartment if they are not going to have appropriate staff that can deliver timely assistance.

Great location, amenities and staff. I highly recommend Sentral and plan to stay again the next time I visit the Scottsdale area.

Hard to find the first time because the address provided really doesn’t exist. Just use the address for the office to make finding it more straightforward. Then, provide a couple of parking spaces to use during check-in. Also, a couple of signs pointing visitors in the right direction would be incredibly helpful. Access to luggage carts required the office to be open and we lost time at departure waiting for the office to open at 9:00. Floors and carpets in our room could stand to be cleaned.

Room was definitely clean, we checked in later, so there was no one at the front desk. I was able to find everything I needed in the check-in instructions. The pool was great, we were the only ones out there and it is very clean. Bring a towel. They aren’t provided. Our only complaint was that we booked two nights and they only gave us two coffee pods. It would’ve been nice if they had given us enough for our entire stay. We did book the apartment because we like to cook when we are out of town and there wasn’t a spatula or tongs or salt and pepper… It was literally just silverware a couple of pots and one tiny pan. Plates and cups too but cabinets were mostly empty. We made it work. Location is absolutely worth the stay and the place is very modern.
