The room was incorrect but the staff fixed it and they were very helpful. The new room had someone else’s leftovers and a used coffee pod in the coffee maker with no available coffee for our use. Overall it was still a decent a stay. No air conditioning just box fans but we survived.

This is an older hotel in a great location. Pay the extra for a view. The beds are old and need to be replaced as of this date July 2023. The first room one can tell the bed needed to be replaced by the look. Then attempting to sleep, it was lumpy. I had to complain to front desk and they moved us rooms and that bed too was old but better than the first room. The one person at the front desk did us good.

Room was small but comfortable and clean. The stairs were quite troublesome during the rain but was very thankful that they did have two elevators, no ice machine on the 3rd floor( which is where we were) fridge was nice size and very very clean! coffee in room was a plus we had a room with no view but it did have a bathtub and check in was easy and check out was even easier!

The room was dark and nothing like the pictures. We checked in and checked out within the same house. This hotel looks like something you'd find down a highway if a horror movies. We didn't feel comfortable or safe at all.

On one the coldest nights, our room took over 3 hours to heat up. I had to ask for a spare blanket. We booked this hotel just for the hot tub, pool & sauna. Get here & hot tub is out of order, pool is cold & sauna wouldn't turn on. Staff was apologetic but this is not what I signed up for.

The Shilo at Seaside is awful. The room floor had large dark spots. The couch had holes in it. There coffee table had scratches all over. The bed was not sleepable. DONT stay here.

I enjoyed my stay in every aspect except the last day when the elevator went out of service and me and my bad knee had to hoff it multiple times up to the 5th floor to load my vehicle for leaving.

Hotel is dated, hot tub and steam room are not working and I booked it for the steam room. Sauna is functional and beds were very comfortable.

We found ourselves in seaside, OR and having stayed at shilo oceanfront 25 years earlier decided on staying again. We could not have been more disappointed. The property has been left to deteriorate. There were maintainance issues galore. Missing pieces of thresholds, trim on door missing in room we were initially assigned. After trying to get the room
To warm for 2 hours it was still cold due to trim and insulation missing from the door to outside hallway. The sliding door lock did not work and I could go on. The only reason I gave two stars is the hotel tried to move us to another room, and it took going through 3 other rooms to find one that was passable. Little things like burned out lights in the hallways not replaced, the remote for the tv did not work, broken closet doors that would not open, etc the maintenance needs to really improve to justify the room prices.
