Seaside Inn Monterey

This is my third stay here... it's very clean and up to date. It doesn't look like much from the street, although the paint colors are very bright and inviting!

We needed to check in as soon as possible and the lady in the office helped us as much as she could and was so pleasant. We really appreciate her going the extra mile for us.

Returning guest and would definitely continue to stay here when visiting my college student. This is an Inn so no extra amenities. For the price, it’s a hidden gem. It’s clean, simple and close to everything. This trip there were no homeless outside of hotel as it was not the summer time. Parking not as challenging as last trip, again not busy season. The owners are very nice and again housekeeping was great!

This property was very clean, well kept up, walls looked like they'd been painted recently, the outdoor area has nice plants and it was conveniently located to shopping, eating and within 12 minutes drive to Monterey.

We stayed one night for an event in Monterey. When we entered the room it had a horrible smell of smoke. I immediately went and told the manager who was at the desk that I was allergic to the smoke smell. She said that she could not put us in another room since all the rooms were full. She was apologetic and said that she did not get a chance to check the room since they were very busy. She did offer a refund if we chose to leave. We decided to put up with it for one night since all motels and hotels were booked in the area. The manager came later to the room to see if we were staying or leaving. She told us to rid of the smell to open the window. Standing outside she could obviously see that the screen on the bottom was totally ripped. The room was the first room on the first floor in the parking lot and on a noisy busy street. We did not feel safe leaving the window open. The only positive was the room was newly refurbished and clean.

We found Seaside Inn to be clean, quiet and affordable. The staff was very polite and professional. Very happy with our stay there.

Very quick check in. The place is cozy and charming. Very clean and everything is in great shape. Would stay again.

Very clean, the grounds are kept us nice, housekeeping was there every day ( no questions asked) Very close to beautiful beach, shopping and restaurants. Two issues- parking is limited and tight and there are tons of homeless people around hotel. We were never bothered once by them but they are there. Would stay here again
