There is a night club directly across the street from the art inn and there was music playing until 3:00am. It was so loud there was no way the windows of the house could keep out the noise. If it weren’t for the noise, I still would not have been able to sleep because the bed was so soft. Both my husband and I felt like we were sleeping in a bean bag chair. Lastly the curtains didn’t block out the outdoor light so it was almost as bright as day the whole night.
If you want to sleep at all while you are in Seattle I do not recommend this Inn

this place is a glorified air bnb. they locked us out early and if we didn’t find someone working on the property idk what we would've done because i didn’t hear back from the provided number i called. “the secret room” is just a basement. this is advertised as a hotel/inn but it’s not.

Ideal location. Clean. MANY good restaurants within walking distance. Reasonably priced. Did not like the entry app since it didn't work repeatedly, next time I will ask for a key.

Parking in a dark back alley is very worrisome. Don’t know if someone will harm you or if the car will be broken into.

The property itself was clean. The room was cute but the hot water was limited. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The house like set up provided no noise barrier. Other guests were coming and going well after midnight. My room was next to the front door so every time the door slammed shut, every time someone went up and down the stairs, it echoed and vibrated keeping me up. The surrounding neighborhood was questionable but I think that’s just Seattle. I would prob stay again because even tho it was still almost $200, it was cheaper than anything else in the area. I needed it for the proximity to the college.

The room was small but the arty walls made it fun. Location is good. Housekeeping needs to be improved substantially. Dust/dirt under the bed, behind doors etc. There was only one coffee pod given over the course of a four day stay for two people. Toiletries also only served one person. Very stingy given the price of the room.

Small room, but very clean with good bed and shower, which matters most. Easy to get to from downtown on red tram. Good dining options nearby, since this is a college area.

Firstly, this is not a hotel. It is house that has been split into a bunch of separate rooms. I was “upgraded” to the Secret Room. A large basement suite will very low ceilings, two king/queen beds, and it’s own bathroom. At 6’2” I kept hitting my head on the beams on the roof and had to squat in the shower. The bathroom door was noticeably dirty, the shower nob was broken off, and the room smelled musty. On the upside it would sleep 4 comfortably and there was free water. Overall, I would not stay here again.

No staff on premises. No contact check-in. Must download app and give personal information like DL(I hope the don't get hacked) Uses NFC electronic locks but room lock failed. Tech support is nice but talk faster than you can move fingers through app so many repeats resulting in a longer than necessary check-in. I'm not coming back so I'll be deleting that app ASAP!
