Fairmont Olympic Hotel - Seattle

Central Business District Seattle|0.18km from Seattle Public Library-Central Library
I was determined to book this hotel for our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Seattle, which is good, because frustrations with the All.com, fairmont.com websites and the Accor ALL app made it a challenge to actually do so. When I finally booked, I put a note on the booking that it was a very special occasion. We arrived by cab. While the four bellmen at the front did help unload the luggage, they also told us we seemed capable of carrying the bags in ourselves. I'm not sure if that's because we didn't arrive in an upscale SUV, or if the hotel just takes a passive approach to greeting guests. The underwhelming continued when we checked in, and I was asked what brought us to Seattle. I reiterated what was on the booking -- very special anniversary, chose to come to the Olympic Hotel to celebrate. ”Oh, congratulations. Elevators are behind you across the lobby.”. As a platinum member, a certain number of perks are granted. We arrived to a plate of bonbons and some fresh fruit. It's the fist hotel I've stayed at that actually did supply fitness gear (per Platinum perks), which was a nice surprise. I was less pleasantly surprised to find no mini-bar in the room, not even an empty fridge. I'd booked the Signature King Corner View, and it had what is likely one of the best views in the hotel. The room was nicely sized, with a desk, sitting chair and ottoman, and the king bed, with windows all around. The bed was super comfortable (as expected!). The bathroom was spacious, but in need of renovation -- at very least, to replace the old, tiny tub/shower and under-pressured, inferior shower fixtures, as well as the tile throughout. It was clean, or at least mostly, and while towels were showing some age, they were still fluffy. Amenities were a bit more limited than other properties, but we knew we could call down for extras if we needed to. Staff in hallways were friendly, and anything left in the hallway seemed to disappear quickly enough (ie room service trays and other detritus). Requests for amenities (pillows, coffee/tea replenishment) were met quickly and graciously. But... the door/bellmen were routinely disinterested -- the number of times we pushed through the main doors while they stood off to the side talking to one another was surprising. (Guests arriving in elegant dresses? Lots of help. In a shiny SUV or luxury car? Loads of reaction. But two 40-somethings dressed casually, but paying plenty to stay at the hotel? Not so much a glance or offer of help.) Housekeeping is rather annoyingly ”on demand only”, but we happily found our room had been serviced on our first day while we were out -- and when we called on subsequent days to request service, the response was gracious -- and the room was always done by the time we returned. Room service (breakfast one morning) was fast and delicious. Service in the lobby bar was friendly and the drinks were delicious. There are two restaurants -- The George and Shuckers -- and the lobby bar offers

Staybridge Suites Seattle Downtown - Lake Union

Seattle|1.96km from Seattle Public Library-Central Library
The hotel is located in the South Lake Union area. It is about 20-30 minutes by car from the airport and it costs 46 yuan to take a taxi. The reservation is for a standard room. The hotel requires check-in after 4:00 pm. We are an early flight. However, we arrived at the hotel at about 10:00 am. Because of the availability, the front desk will quickly complete the formalities. We do not speak English. Baidu dialogue translation, the receptionist at the front desk will also use it, so there is no communication barrier. The room is large, with two large single beds of 1.50 meters wide, and there is a double sofa by the window to sleep. There are no problems for a family of three. There is a small open kitchen in the room. Although small, it is well-equipped. It has a dual-burner electric ceramic stove, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a kitchen waste processor, and is also equipped with simple seasonings, plates, bowls, woks, stews , Milk pan, tableware and cutlery, 3-4 people have no problem dining. The rooms are quiet and tidy, and the facilities are relatively new. From the reception staff to the floor service staff are very warm and attentive. Breakfast is full of meat, eggs, milk, bread, oatmeal, coffee, soy milk, cakes, waffles, fruits. There is a small supermarket next to the hotel where you can buy some food and bento. There is also a large supermarket on 29 minutes' walk. Fruits, vegetables and meat are very fresh. Personally I think this hotel is very cost-effective!

Best Western Plus Pioneer Square Hotel Downtown

Pioneer Square
The hotel has a history of more than 100 years... but it doesn't look old. The decoration is very stylish, the floor is very high and the interior is bright. The corridor is spacious and the elevator is large. The room was clean and there were fewer outlets. The actual use area is 22 square meters, with a large bed, 2 meters wide, 2 meters high and 0.7 meters high. The window cannot be opened. The front desk service is very good and check-in and check-out is very fast. Breakfast is a light meal with milk, burgers, fruit, eggs, cereals.... It is a 10-minute walk from King Street Railway Station and a 20-minute walk to Pike Place Market. There are no large supermarkets near the hotel.
W Seattle

The W Seattle was conveniently located and within walking distance to most of Seattle’s attractions (Pike Place, Space Needle, waterfront). The small entrance to the hotel is located on Seneca Street and during our stay we were “greeted” by a few homeless folks who hung around the entrance. Returning to Seattle after a few years away, we noticed a lot more homeless people – the homeless people did not bother us but you did feel a little unsafe during the evenings. Check-in: Unfortunately we checked in past 9pm on a Friday night and in true W fashion, the DJ had the music so loud that the lobby was deafening and it was impossible to communicate with the front desk. Thankfully the front desk were well prepared and handed us a one sheet summary with a welcome letter. Breakfast: Disappointing. I have had better free breakfast at Marriott Courtyard. We had breakfast included with our room and this was capped to $20 per person. The quality of the breakfast items were average at best and very over-priced. Room: We had a lovely Corner Studio on a high floor which had amazing views of the water. The room had a Nespresso coffee machine which was restocked daily. The only downside to the room was the bathroom. Compared to other W hotels, the bathroom/shower was a little dated.

A roomy room with a decent view. The staff was kind and attentive. I liked being able to walk to the museum and to Target. Alexa in the room was a nice touch. The inside doors of the elevators need revisiting and numbering order in them is one of a kind.

We have stayed here several times and it is truly a fantastic hotel in downtown Seattle. They upgraded our room to a corner suite and couldn't have been nicer. Always greeted with a smile and a pleasant hello and it was obvious that the hotel employees enjoyed their jobs. The room was huge with a super-comfortable bed and an equally large sofa to sprawl out on. The views were of the waterfront and the location is in the heart of everything fun. The property has an excellent gym outfitted with a Peloton and is kept very clean. There is room to improve the menu in the restaurant, but all things said, this is a great place -- again!!

Really nice hotel with great city views. Staff was so friendly - everything in good repair. We got upgraded to executive level and that was an amazing treat. Room was cleaned without request - which was really appreciated.

I booked the wrong room before I realized that there are two identical hotels in Seattle! Overall, I really like the ones in the south of the lake! Much more convenient! The hall is also much bigger and more comfortable!
