Istanbul Ocean View Hotels

"In general, I was very pleased to stay at this hotel. The process was quite organized from the entrance to the exit and the staff was always friendly, caring and helpful. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable; especially the comfort of the beds and the silence of the environment provided a good rest. Although there is no breakfast service at the hotel, there were many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity because its location is quite central, which was not a problem for me. It is a successful hotel in terms of price performance that can be preferred for both holiday and business travel. It was a place I could choose again."

"The hotel is close to tourist sites such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace. I was able to go to these sites for around 10 minutes on a walk. However, I found it pretty complex to go to the airport as I had to transfer several times to get to the airport which took me 2 hours. In regards to the service cleanliness, I am very satisfied as I got my bed made every day and the towels changed. The room size was very spacial for a single person."

"Hotel is in the old area of Istanbul, which makes it very easy to walk around to the main attractions. The rooms are quite small so be prepared to be cramped in. Wouldn’t stay here more than a few days if you have to. The ‘breakfast’ was poor and very basic, and it’s right next to the train line which you can hear very loudly from your room."

"A terrible experience at this hotel. Despite its excellent location and stunning views, and despite being generally good, the customer service was extremely poor. The reception staff were unprofessional and unfriendly, with no welcoming or friendly demeanor. Most of my friends didn't speak English well, only a few phrases, and the receptionist would ignore them and move on to another guest, failing to understand their needs or even attempt to communicate with them. He even said, ”You Saudis don't speak any language.” We booked breakfast, yet on the first day, they kept changing our reservations. We went upstairs and downstairs repeatedly about it, insisting we contact the company and explaining that the reservation didn't include breakfast. After much pressure, we finally got breakfast. Upon checkout, they took our luggage roughly, pulling two bags off the trolley. They pushed them into the elevator and dragged them out, leaving them there before the driver even arrived. When I spoke to the baggage handler, he didn't respond. When the driver finally arrived, I tried to speak to him, but he said it wasn't his responsibility because of the location and the bags. When I asked for his name, he hid his ID. One last thing, as we were leaving, they said that... There were missing items in the refrigerators that we hadn't touched or drunk anything from, yet they wanted to demand payment even though they hadn't checked them. In all the times and hotels I've stayed in Istanbul, this was the worst treatment I've ever experienced. It was like I was there to sleep for free, literally. That's how I felt. Besides that, there was no more than two bottles of water in each room, and if you asked for another, they said it was forbidden. There were no tissues either."

"This is a perfect place to stay for 2-3 days. The location is superb; the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are within walking distance of the hotel. I would especially like to thank the hotel administrator, Abdullah. He helped us unload and load our luggage, gave us great advice on the best places to visit in Istanbul, and organized an excellent transfer to the airport. If the hotel management is reading this review, I suggest giving Abdullah a bonus. If you haven't decided where to stay yet, I highly recommend it. "I didn’t like the hotel ,, poor room , they gave me a room it look like it’s located in a basement,, a very small room, the bathroom is clean but the toilet didn’t work good , the sink; washbasin was almost close, and many other things I didn’t like. I will not make a reservation again on this hotel."

"In general, we liked the hotel.Excellent location - near trams, exchangers, cafes, embankment. Cleaning, changing clothes and adding tea and coffee every day.The room was clean and comfortable bed, quiet. During the rain, you can rent a umbrella. From the cafe on the 7th floor, a wonderful view on Bosphorus. From the downsides.Booked the room with sea view,requested several times, said exactly, with sea view.It turned out as in anecdote - you can see, but from the closet.The photo attached.We had 4 floors.Who cares, bear in mind. Right in front of the window, the minaret of the mosque with the speakers. In general, for the third day we are used to the mosque."
