Cordia Hotel Surabaya Airport - Hotel Dalam Bandara - Formerly Ibis Budget Surabaya Airport
8.2 (446 reviews)

Cordia Hotel Surabaya Airport - Hotel Dalam Bandara - Formerly Ibis Budget Surabaya Airport ★★

📍 Juanda International Airport, Terminal 1, Jalan Ir. Haji Juanda Lt 1, Segoro Tambak, Segorotambak, Kec. Sedati, Kabupaten, Segoro Tambak, Sedati

"As the only portable hotel inside Juanda Airport's terminal, I didn't expect anything fancy. I just wanted a good rest. So, I'd say this room is only slightly more comfortable than a lobby chair. It has hot water, a bed, and toiletries – and that's about it. If you're particular about hygiene, I'd recommend bringing disposable bedding or a disposable towel to cover the bed (which I happened to have and used). Since I was exhausted, I still slept very soundly and comfortably. Also, I think it's in Terminal 1. If your departure is from Terminal 2, you'll need to take a taxi, which is about a 15-minute ride. This is something to keep in mind. Facilities: Average Hygiene: Below average (my bedsheet had a shoe print on it) Environment: Good (small room, small corridor, quite private. The decor is similar to materials found on an airplane.) Service: Excellent (The male attendant was very welcoming, but the lady at check-in wasn't very gentle, though she wasn't bad either.) Downstairs, there's a large fountain, plenty of food options, convenience stores, and an ATM. The hotel is just up the escalator. The video was something I casually filmed after checking in and going out to find something to eat."

"It's a shame, in the hotel description it doesn't say that what was booked was for a 6 hour transit only. And just found out the arrival time. And when I arrived at the location, I asked what the solution was, we were told to contact the application. This is the first time booking a hotel is not worth it both from the application and the hotel"

Cordia Hotel Surabaya Airport - Hotel Dalam Bandara - Formerly Ibis Budget Surabaya Airport ★★
"Super convenient for a quick transit, but definitely showing its age You really can't beat the location—it's literally right inside the airport! If you have a super early flight, arrive late at night, or just need a place to crash before heading out of the city the next day, it’s incredibly convenient. That being said, keep your expectations in check. You can tell this hotel has changed hands a few times over the years because it feels pretty old and dated. The rooms are quite small, the amenities have seen better days, and the biggest issue for me was a weird, unpleasant smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. Overall: I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, but if you just need a quick, hassle-free bed and a shower between flights, it definitely does the job."

"The room was quite spacious. However, the shower head was slow to adjust the water temperature. Also, because our room was located near the hallway, we were disturbed at night by the noise of other guests' luggage."

"Uninhabitable and misleading conditions – Do not book! We were shown two different rooms: -The first room (double bed) had dirty walls, stained bed sheets, no windows, and was infested with insects (ants, flies, and small cockroaches). -The second room (twin beds) was in an even worse state of hygiene. Furthermore, the air conditioning did not work, a defect confirmed by the staff member himself, and the bathroom was unusable because it lacked a shower head (also acknowledged by the staff). Due to these uninhabitable and unhygienic conditions, we were forced to leave immediately and book another hotel nearby. Although the on-site staff verbally agreed to approve our refund request, the property later acted in bad faith and rejected it twice. Future travelers should be aware of these misleading listings and severe hygiene issues."
