Poco Diablo Resort
3.9/5101 Reviews
The Poco Diablo hotel is located several miles outside of Sedona. It has most amenities to keep you busy for your stay- a network of hiking trails 1//4 mile from the property, golf course, swimming pool, tennis court and laundry room. The hotel is connected by a shuttle from Phoenix and the Verde Valley shuttle takes you from the hotel to Sedona and other areas of interest. Because the hotel is located away from Sedona you have the opportunity to do star gazing at night. The rooms are spacious. I especially liked the bathroom as there were two sinks- one in the wash area and one outside. Manager Phil and concierge William were easy to talk too and very pleasant. They provided answers to our questions. The hotel still follows Covid-19 protocols so staff had limited contact with guests. Housekeeping is limited to changing towels and picking up trash. I did not give this hotel 5 stars as they do not have a gift or sundry shop. The Willow restaurant at the hotel is open only for dinner. They have no breakfast or lunch options. We went to Safeway to stock up on breakfast supplies. Buy snacks and drinks for your stay at the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Hilton Vacation Club Sedona Summit

I understand Hilton recently bought this property. It definitely doesn’t have a “Hilton” vibe to it as it is very average looking. The rooms definitely need a renovation….the kitchen and bathroom are dated, the TV is tiny, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking accessories. There are several pools, but some are fairly small. We had a nice private hot tub behind our unit and never saw anyone. Our unit was close to the highway, so you can hear cars when outside, etc. Overall, it is OK, but not up to Hilton standards.
Kimpton Amara Resort and Spa

The Amara will always remain a special place, It was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was breathtaking, the small things like greetings, and knowing our names when we walk in went a long way; I felt so welcomed!! The views of the red rocks and being on the creek made the location phenomenal. The rooms all have a balcony, some overlook the creek and the pool area. I love that the room is large, and very very clean! Located in the center of Sedona, you are close to all the shopping! The trip was for my Birthday, but it ended up in an engagement surprise too! The Amara made everything unique and special! There was a Birthday surprise in the room with cookies, and apple cider, The property created a special and romantic vibe that made the whole proposal so much more memorable! I felt so special and over thrilled with joy. Overall, the staff was very friendly, & exceptionally welcoming. We enjoyed my birthday breakfast at Salt Rock, our server Marco was so kind and checked on us frequently, and made sure everything was brought out in a timely fashion and how we ordered it.

The breakfast was great. It was the best in the hotel where I had breakfast for free on this trip. There were whole wheat bread, scones, fruit, fresh milk, and I could make my own waffles. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic.
Los Abrigados Resort and Spa
4.2/5107 Reviews
Beautiful and exquisite hotel in the center of the city, more than five hundred without breakfast price, one bedroom and one living room with kitchen, cost-effective, the hotel consists of several rows of two-story buildings, free parking. The lobby is beautiful, mainly used by locals for vacations, and the rooms are simple, clean and quiet, highly recommended.
El Portal Sedona Hotel
4.7/564 Reviews
El Portal opened the door to time and brought us back to the old days. Snuggled on the sofa in front of the fireplace, listening to the fire blaring, watching the furnishings, oil paintings and crafts furnished around, fully relaxed and comfortable. Especially valuable is that I met the owner and his wife of the hotel, read the brochure written by the gentleman, and deepened my understanding and feelings here. Today we left with gratitude and full memories, and the good memories will live forever! It is recommended to read the brochure written by the male owner.
