The service at the reception impossible. at least one lady chewing gum gave appropriate answers at check-in. Otherwise fine. As a smoker, you are treated worse than a dog. The dog is given a bowl of water and is welcome. There isn't even an ashtray in front of the door for a smoker, I've never experienced that before. For better or worse, you have to put the butts in your pocket or dispose of them in public rubbish bins. Some just throw them on the street. Is not beautiful. Otherwise the hotel is getting old. trip.com is not recommended. I had asked if there was a balcony in the room booked. The answer was yes, but unfortunately it wasn't.

7 pm arrival. The sliding doors of the hotel entrance remained closed. We rang and waited in the cold evening air for 5 minutes before a grumpy concierge came to the door and again asked what we wanted. Reluctantly he let us in. It seems that he was not familiar with the concept of ‘guest’ nor ‘hospitality’ for that matter. The wifi was a case of hit or miss, usually the latter. There is always the TV, with a choice of over 50 channels. Make sure you speak German though, as you won’t find anything beyond local, regional or the national border. The breakfast was very good and the seaview excellent.

The hotel has a premium location at the seaside. Very comfortable and spacious room and a nice bathroom. Great wellness area and good restaurant/bar. Highly recommendable.

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Hotel und es war ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Das frisch renovierte Zimmer samt der Ausstattung gefiel uns sehr. Zum Frühstück gab es ein reichhaltiges Angebot, sodass für jeden etwas dabei war. Zudem war das Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und immer bereit, die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Alles war sehr sauber. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr zu empfehlen mit einem schönen Ambiente. Wir kommen bestimmt gerne wieder.

Im Hotel Kaiserhof gibt es schönes Cafe in sehr großzügigen Wintergarten. Von dort hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf die Seebrücke, die Promenade sowie den Strand. Angeboten werden am Nachmitttag diverse Kuchen, gepflegte Tee-Spezialitäten sowie Kaffee-Getränke .

Zimmer mit Meersicht, ideal gelegen und für CH- Verhältnisse mit überdurchschnittlichem Frühstück. Hotelangebot umfassend (Wellness, Innen- und Aussenbecken). Das Zimmer war grosszügig bezüglich Raumgrösse und Einrichtung.

Ein Sonntag im März, strahlend blauer Himmel, viele Touristen unterwegs - ich wollte am Nachmittag einen Kaffee in dem wunderbaren Wintergarten trinken, wie wir es früher schon öfter gemacht haben. Da ich den Lift nicht gleich fand, fragte ich an der Rezeption, bekam eine freundliche Antwort und fuhr hoch. Dort wunderte ich mich, dass an so einem Sonntag nur 1 Tisch besetzt war. Die Kellnerin fragte nach meiner Gästekarte, die ich natürlich nicht hatte. Das Cafe sei nur für Hotelgäste. Ein absolutes Unding - zurück an der Rezeption bekam ich die Antwort, dass das ganze Hotel wegen Corona nur für Hausgäste sei. Nirgendwo stand ein Hinweis darauf und die Rezeption fühlte sich auch nicht zuständig, mich entsprechend zu informieren. Sorry, aber Abfuhren dieser Art werde ich mir nicht noch einmal abholen. Andere Hotels und Restaurants managen die Coronafrage auch und man fühlt sich willkommen dabei.
