We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed top class service. Every interaction with the staff felt genuinely friendly. The quality of the restaurant is one of a kind! Fab! As a family with a baby, a 7 year old one and a dog, we really had a pleasant stay. We could even sit with our dog for breakfast and dinner in the lounge / bar area. We will definitely come back soon.

If you want a complete and luxurious Alpen experience look no further. From the moment the staff greets you to your first afternoon pastry to your evening Aufgus & pond plunge and to the juicing room at breakfast, every little detail has been considered. Gorgeous, well-appointed rooms with mountaintop views, decadent meals and plenty of activities to keep you entertained. We can’t wait to return.

This is where one finds true Austrian hospitality. The hotel is really well designed, with a real sense of place, and many nice small touches (e.g. interesting artworks). The color schemes, lighting and design are soothing and exuding luxury. The quintessential Alpine experience. Rooms are very comfortable, serviced twice a day, and ours had a stunning mountain view. Service is warm and accommodating and questions/requests are answered in detail and you get to know staff very quickly. It's a 5 minute walk to town (there's a shortcut so ask) and the Sacher has good transport options to the ski lifts, etc. Transfer to other areas further away (e.g. cross country) is by taxi or the town skibus system which is free for hotel guests. The cross country is second to none - with many options and some beautiful tracks for both beginners and those more experienced. The ski options are nice for a short break. Food is expansive and while called half-board is really full board as lunch and tea/cakes are included. Dinner is a set multi-course menu (vegetarian offered) that mostly hits the right notes. There's live piano music during dinner as well. Also nice is that they offer in-room breakfast for a small supplement. All food is of high quality and if you want to eat light you can request just one or two courses. The unlimited Sacher torte at breakfast might tempt some to over-indulge! The spa area is fantastic and one of the best I've seen in the Alps. Especially the no-textile area is great - with a sauna that has a view to die for and an outdoor plunge-pool par of the frozen pond. Two jacuzzis and two pools - all very well heated. They also have a good activity menu that is included. Add to that the 25 minute transfer from Innsbruck airport or train station and you have a winning combination. We left this luxurious resort relaxed and rejuvenated.

Spa is fabulous and worth the price of admission. It deserves 5 stars. Our stay was tainted by double standard extended to some guests and not others. This relates to guests from room 19 (she’s tall he’s not) who per one of the managers are not guests or owners but “proprietors”. Those guest however see themselves as guests. No need to get into details but after we talked to other guests affected by this double standard as well as honest and outspoken staff, who are tired of dividing guests, it became clear that the management should take an honest look at what they’re promoting. Allowing smoking in many parts of the wellness resort is a sin against humanity. Smoking stinks! It’s hard to believe that most European countries that are so environmentally conscious are just fine with stinky smoking… Food was fresh and good but that’s all it was. Nothing special and exceptional about anything we ate, which was surprising. Service was great. Even though we loved the spa and also the private spa experience, the massage we received were really poor quality: choppy, fragmented, and she didn’t seem present. Almost bad enough to say stop. We usually get very good body treatments in Europe, so this was surprising. I think this place is in transition and needs to work out quite a few organizational things. Here is a funny example from our stay: I went to the front desk to tell them that there is a bad odor coming from the shower drain. The clerk wrote it down and sent two bellmen who were told by front desk that there is no hot water in the shower. I explained to them what the problem was and they called housekeeping who cleaned the drain which remained odorless after the cleaning. Again, great hotel and spa with lots of kinks to work out. We’ll back in couple of years to see how they evolved.

The second time we stayed at the Sacher! Even better than the last time. Breakfast was amazing so many options, the evening meals (7 courses) outstanding every course was 5 star. The service was also incredible, the staff could not do enough for you. Our waitress at both breakfast and dinner (Anissa !) was the simply the best and the hotel management and owners should know that she did a credit to the hotel. Pleasant, always smiling, attentative , she simply could not do enough for us. It was my wife's birthday also and unprompted they made the evening special. Evening entertainment was excellent also with a pianist and a young lady singer with the most amazing voice. They even organised snow on the morning of my Finnish wife's birthday, I was amazed how they organised that ;-) The decor as well is perfect also. The spa was nice too, however my only criticism is the gym facilities. In a small room and a bit old in terms of equipment you should take a look at the gym in the Klosterbrau. Otherwise simply perfect !!!!!! PS the best dog hotel out there as well, they cannot do enough for dogs of all sizes.

This is one of these resorts in the AUSTRIAN Alps where are you slowly sink into that wonderful feeling of being dropped into a pond of lukewarm water, floating around like a brand-new child. We spent one week there, hiking and making use of the vast spa landscape, only to be surprised in the evening at the restaurant, how many people are actually here at the same time. Because you never see them during the day. They seem to disappear in the various zones, steam baths, relaxing silent zones and pools. At the restaurant there’s a 3 to 4 course menu served every evening. You have to choose between meat, fish and vegan. Portions are not too big. Service is super friendly. I shouldn’t forget that there is free lunch buffet, serving salads and one or two warm dishes. The rooms are elegantly furnished. Some of them are rather small, but we have seen larger ones. Maybe ask for rooms near or above the spa and swimming pool area.

I have stayed at this fantastic resort for 5 nights, which was just enough to relax and do some activities outside. Although March is the season between seasons, when I arrived the snow was still there, which was perfect for me. You can do trekking, still some of the skiing routes were open. The resort itself is perfect: the rooms are chalet-inspired and have everything you need! The fabulous wooden terraces that face the mountains, the beds are very comfortable, the floors are heated and the fireplace adds up to an amazing ambiance. The turndown service and room service is impeccable. The spa team is amazing. I have booked two spa treatments - one with Eva and one with Markus. Two of them had an amazing technique. I have also attended the muscle relaxation class with Ilias. He was very friendly and professional. The bar team would make delicious cocktails by the bar. Another highlight of the resort is the location and also its heated pools, which are both indoor and outdoors. Try swimming outdoors in the early morning! Breakfasts are fantastic. The F&B team is attentive and would even translate all the menus for you if needed. Great 7-course dinners are served at the restaurant and wine pairings can also be done upon request. There are also daily musical performances at the lobby and you can take in some the Austrian classical performances while sipping Champagne. Thank you so much for the stay. I will definitely be back in winter once again.
