We enjoyed our time at Nilya Hotel. The room was as shown in the pictures, and it was nice. It is close to the Basilica of St John as well as to the town centre. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. On the downside, there was consistent sewage smell coming from the bathroom, so we had to make sure the bathroom door was always shut. Also, the Wi-Fi was weak or very slow/not working if the hotel was busy. There is also no kettle in the room, but you can always go downstairs to ask for coffee or tea, which was very good.

The best hotel we stayed in Türkiye. Amazing art work in the room , beautiful garden with Jasmine plants and its magical perfume . Best breakfast ever , 7 different local fruits and a eggs à la carte . The staff and owner … sweet , helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, charismatic and I will recommend this incredible family owned hotel gem to my friends. Thank you again for your generosity and welcoming energy !!

The hosts were excellent from first point of contact to us checking out and leaving our luggage while we did some last minute sight seeing before our train departure. Breakfast was wholesome and filling and the lady in the kitchen was delightful. The patio area was beautiful, the room tastefully decorated and well maintained, as was the rest of the property. The owners made reservations for us at a restaurant nearby (Sofas) where we were treated to Turkish music and the best meal we had experienced in Turkey. We were given tips to enhance our visit to archeological sites and were even chaperoned to Ephesus at no extra charge. I did not want to leave but our onward travel was already organised. I thoroughly recommend Nilya and would gladly return on any future visit to Turkey. 11/10. thank you for making our Turkey experience that much better. Katrina

Very nice hotel, authentic, clean. It is located in a quiet part of the town. There are ancient ruins within a couple of minutes' walk. Across the street (5 minutes walk) — noise, cafes and shops. The hosts were very hospitable. The breakfasts are plentiful and hearty. There are a couple of parking spaces near the hotel. The room is large and cozy, there are two large and comfortable beds, the air conditioners worked perfectly and saved us in the heat of 42 degrees Celsius. The bathroom is clean, there were no problems with hot water. Wi-Fi is very slow.

The hotel is situated on a small hill, next to the castle, and not far from the train station and the mini-bus station to Ephesus. Although the rooms are rather small, they are very charmingly decorated, and breakfast can be enjoyed in the beautiful courtyard. Because we were taking the train to Denizli early the next morning, the hotel kindly moved our breakfast from 8:00 AM to 7:30 AM, which was fantastic!

The most hospitable hotel owner I met on my trip to Turkey! He helped me print my boarding pass and offered any assistance he could. His own little courtyard was very cozy, and there was parking available. I highly recommend it! The rooms were a bit small, but for most people visiting Ephesus, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay!

Traditional breakfast was good, and the staff were very welcoming. There were many cats in the courtyard. Parking was limited. It was acceptable as a temporary hotel.

A very culturally rich and unique hotel located in the center of town, only 5 kilometers from Ephesus. The hotel owner is very kind and also runs an arts and crafts shop. What I like most is the interior decoration and style of the entire hotel!

The owner was incredibly warm and friendly! We kept getting extra Turkish tea, and the breakfast was a very generous traditional Turkish breakfast. The hotel's location was fantastic—a five-minute walk from the train station, and right next to the Selçuk Castle ruins 🥺. Thank you, Turkey is truly a very romantic place; I met so many wonderful people, and the cats in the courtyard were super affectionate—they practically kept me entertained for three days!

A very good hotel, close to the Archaeological Museum and St. John's Church. The courtyard has a nice atmosphere, but the breakfast is just average.

The room was decorated with a strong ethnic flavor, and for a guesthouse, it was quite clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of fruits, and overall I was quite satisfied.

The room still has a local ethnic style. It is very convenient and comfortable. However, the sound of closing the door in the room will be very loud. There is no TV, and the quiet environment depends on the tourists' awareness.

The scenery is beautiful and it is 5 minutes away from the museum. Unfortunately, it is on a slope. It is difficult to walk up with luggage in summer. If you walk there from the same train station, it takes about 15 minutes. The beds are relatively old, but the price is acceptable. The breakfast is very exquisite, quite a surprise

B&B, the navigation allowed us to climb up a painted step, and there was a courtyard at the door. The green plants were very good, and it had an ethnic style. The breakfast was quite rich, and the two carpets on the floor made the whole room dark! I personally like a refreshing room
