Best Four Star Hotels in Semarang

We live this place. Front desk staff super friendly. You can tell they are meticulous about COVID protocols - front desk had shields and all the staff wearing proper mask. The room are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included and it was very good breakfast not your typical nasi goreng and omelette! Good job chef! If you truly want to enjoy the scenery get to the rooftop / pool, the pool on the site were big and offerings best view of Semarang Downtown. I highly recommend this hotel!

I've stayed for 2 nights on my staycation in Semarang. Room is clean, tidy and comfy, but there are some spots on the towel. Also the spray jet valve were leaks, so I got to turn it on/off during using it. I like the breakfast menu, quite variative choice and tastes goods. The sky pool was fresh in the morning, but don't forget to applied sun block on your skin. Overall is good for an affordable price.

Insight room was different from the picture given on agoda, booking.com, traveloka even on their official website. Bed linen, pillow, towels got stain and the colour a bit yellowish. On their wall got a few of pencil sketched. And that make the room even look dirtier and dumped. The main thing was the bathroom. In the morning the water were so dirty, they said they were doing some repair to the water valve. And you guest what, they doing it in the morning where all the guests already wake up and need to use the toilet and we found out that the water was DIRTY with all the sands and the colour were brownish, then out of sudden the water heater also down. And the jackpot was, the water STOP running to all the rooms. THIS WAS PERFECT 😏 We already called 3 times and asked, and they only said wait for a while and keep on the water to flush away all the dirts. With out any other solutions. And that happens for almost 3 hours. They perfectly ruined our holiday with this Issue. We ask for extra towel, fyi, they only give 2 towels per room. We have 3 Children, so we asked for extra towel. We never got any problem on this even on budget hotel or at 4 or 5 Stars hotels before, You know what? After they give extra 2 towels, they asked for the existing 2 towels thats already in the room to be returned to them. We have explained to the house keeping that we have 3 kids, and of course 2 towels will not be enough (fyi, the towel is a bit thin, dont expect a furry thick towel like at other 4 or 5 starts hotel) What a silly service. Dont mention about the extra room key, they only gave us 1 room key, so we asked for 1 extra. You know what they said? We have not enough room key, so no more extra. It was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT staying 1 night on 31st dec to 1st of Jan 2023 at LK Pandanaran Semarang. They charged almost 3times from their normal rate and this is what we got. We dont mind if you marked up your price almost 3times, specially during peak season, BUT PLEASE before doing that, improve your service, add more capable and professional labour to balance up with your price. Not mention about LK Simpang Lima Semarang. At their lobby, there was a water leakage, not sure why they havent done any repairing. Thats make us think that they all the SAME, at all LK Hotel Chains at semarang. But we would like to compliments the security outside the lobby area, he was very helpful, and genuinely helped us and give solutions when there were no more parking lot.

Good value for money. I booked 3 rooms. One of the non-smoking room smells like smoke, but the hotel switched it with another room, so problem was resolved pretty quickly. The hotel has sufficient selection of the ala carte food menu, it was freshly made therefor it tooks sometime. Great service 10/10 everyone was very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a small swimming pool, located outdoor with shades, next to the restaurant. Perfecr for family with small kids

We checked in on many Aston hotels and always feel satisfied, but this.. well.. I will straight to the point Plus + location is strategic + room is large (with but...) + breakfast has many variation and delicious ... as expected of Aston hotel + internet speed is quite good Minus - loose heath protocol, many people walk around without mask and no staff care about it - really small in room table (room 1115) , I can barely put my laptop there , i want to change room but they said it's fully booked .. seriously with room this large, it won't do any damage if you provide bigger desk - large room, sofa, but light is really dim, even one of the lamp is broken, mechanic exchange the bulb resulting some debris from roof falling and made the sofa dirty - bathroom is so small and no door for shower area so water will splash here and there - poor TV signal I usually use Aston hotel, I even wrote this in another Aston Hotel (Aston Cirebon which wayyy better than Aston Semarang) .. well I'm aware this is Aston Inn (which should has lower standard) but I didn't expect to be so much different :)

We stayed in this hotel during our trip to Semarang, My sister booked a connecting room, I stayed with my wife and my 9y..o daughter, and my sis was in the next door room. The room that we stayed in has some smell, the staff said it's because the aircon has just been switched on, but I didn't think so because my sister's room didn't have that smell. The ensuite layout is rather odd and too narrow. The shower is almost fall off. The bedroom itself is fine, the service is also quite good. There is a rooftop swimming pool. Location is also good.

Good choice of hotel in good Simpang Lima location. Good service by Front Office. Need to renew the bathtowel and upgrade the amenities quality.

Complete facilities, spacious parking lot, city center, rooftop with good view. Good food.. There is a refill of drinking water..

I had my stay on 28 - 30 October. Overll the check in process was smooth and the room is comfort. The disaster happened on the next day when I went down for breakfast at 6:20 in the morning. I understand the bfast started from 6 am and the reason I went dow at 6:20 was to avoid the crowd and to select the seats we wanted. There was not many waitress in charge I have to call them for tea and coffee. The duration of waiting for coffee and tea ws about 30 mins until I have to contact them again and again. The weird things that there was nobody incharge in Semarangan section and Dimsum section and Roti Kukus Section ( I took the photo attached). I even asked the staffs what time the staff arrived and start serve the guests. One of the staffs said that some of them were still prepared the breakfast and the manager was not stand by also in the restaurant. It was terrible experience for 5 star hotel like Tentrem. On fact I had enjoyable and memorable stay and experience when I stayed at Padma Semarang on the previous stay. The staffs esp in the restaurant are more attentive and details. I was interested in staying at this hotel because of its unique location in a residential complex and the beautiful atmosphere around the hotel. I made a reservation through booking.com, all processes until I checked in everything went smoothly, the check-in process was very efficient, no more than 3 minutes. However, all thoughts of enjoying a clean and quiet room, and the desire to enjoy the surroundings of the hotel through the bedroom window, vanished in an instant. My eyes immediately found strands of hair on the couch and also on the bathroom floor, and the bedroom window was closed with an iced glass window which made sure I couldn't see anything from the room, let alone enjoy the natural atmosphere that had been beautiful in my mind. DISAPPOINTED. TIPS : 1. Please be careful when getting off the vehicle in front of the hotel lobby, because that area is also a road for residential residents, so make sure it is safe before you get out of the vehicle, because sometimes from the left and right vehicles pass by at high speed. 2. Make sure that your room's window is _see through_ so that you will not _trapped_ in a room with NO view!
