I went to Malaysia in November. Thanks to the hostess and staff for their home-like service, the whole trip was perfect. The hotel is small, has a warm living atmosphere, and is clean and tidy. There are 24-hour self-service refreshments and a drum washing machine on the first floor. There is a large balcony on the second floor for drying clothes and a refrigerator. There is a young lady at the front desk who speaks fluent Chinese and a young man who speaks fluent English and works the night shift. Thanks to the boss lady for arranging the Tawau airport transfer and one-day tour. Especially the half-day tour of Lover's Bay water sports, my parents had a great time. The restaurants we ate at were all recommended by the proprietress, and they were affordable and friendly. I was lucky enough to meet the proprietress in person. She was polite and tall. I also saw Indonesian CJS giving a speech at the stadium. I wish the boss lady a prosperous business and I wish Tawau has an airport worthy of Semporna’s international status.

The scenery of the seawater is indeed super beautiful, but the facilities do not need to be expected. There is basically nothing and you need to bring your own, including toilet paper. Looking to improve the infrastructure, it was too hot to sleep at night. We booked for two nights and stayed only one night without checking out. It was really hot. The rest is OK.

Probably one of the best guesthouses in Semporna area. Jono's place is strategically located near the jetty and restaurant area. Almost everything is walking distance. Pharmacies, dive centres, convenience stores, restaurants and etc. The place itself is so clean and tidy. Can see that the owner puts a lot of effort in maintaining the place. The guesthouse has a well equipped pantry. It has instant noodles, bread biscuits, eggs, tea and coffee. It's more than good enough for a simple breakfast. I highly recommend this place.

The location is a bit far from the pier. Take a car to the pier for a few minutes. There is basically no food sold nearby. If you need anything, you have to buy it near the pier and take it back, but this way you will be far away from the noise. The sister at the front desk is very nice and can drive us to the pier and place to eat. The boss can speak Chinese, if you need anything, you can call and communicate with the boss smoothly! The car to and from the airport can be booked directly with the boss. The room is very big. Although the accommodation environment is average, it is cheap. The overall comfort of the accommodation is not bad. The point is that there is a yard where you can dry clothes! ! ! After island hopping, you can dry your clothes in time every day, and who knows what it feels like not to bring a bunch of stinky clothes home! ! !

Friends who go to Semporna must not miss this hotel! For three days in Semporna, I stayed at the Wizard of Oz for the first two days and experienced the water house on the last night. First of all, this store has a comfortable environment. Each room is a separate small tree house. The birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant outside. It is very relaxing to get up early and take a walk outside. Secondly, the service is very attentive. The hotel provides pick-up and drop-off from the pier at almost any time. The hotel staff, from the boss to the receptionist to the driver, are super proactive, considerate and helpful. We arranged airport pick-up and drop-off from Tawau to Semporna at a reasonable price. Within two days of our stay, we were contacted in advance to confirm the pick-up and drop-off time at the pier. We were also proactively asked if we needed help with island hopping, and even cared about us. If you want to have lunch, the driver can pick us up and drop us off for dinner (actually we have already made an appointment for a full day of island hopping that day, so we can take care of our three meals by ourselves). On the last day, we chose to experience the water house. We hope that after checking out the next day, the lady sister can help make an appointment for a drop-off at Tawau Airport. The lady will not ignore us just because we have already left the hotel. She is still willing to help us after 10 o'clock in the evening. We contact the driver, and everyone will still care about whether they got on the bus on time the next day. There are many similar details, and it feels really cordial to encounter such a store in a foreign country! A boss who operates with care will definitely have a prosperous business! Praise the little brother Weiwei (Wei Wei?) by his real name. He takes care of a store by himself. During the peak tourist season, he is busy running up and down. He is very polite and friendly. I heard that he came to help his aunt take care of the store during the summer vacation. He is a boy. She is quite shy, but she takes good care of her guests, arrives as soon as she is called, and runs out of breath, but speaks very gently when she comes to you. I like this B&B very much. The owner and A Ping are very nice. Although it is not near the pier, it is only a few minutes drive away.
