It was a really uptown style hotel and I heard the car sound at the roundabout plus not a tiny room. got mini breakfast restaurants

The location is great if you plan to go to the jetty for activities in the morning. Room is small but there is enough space to put the bags and still have room to walk around. They have a drinking water dispenser and spin dryer to help you dry your clothes.

Good location. Good enough for a 1 night city stay, have all the basic needs. Their lobby is connected to a seafood restaurant, very convenient. Value for money

Walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. Hotel is clean and quite new compared to the others. Worth the stay for island hopping.

By the time i booked this hotel, the price is just slightly higher than the average budget hotel, so at first i wasn’t put high expectations of this hotel..But when ive arrived here, it was a very nice hotel to stay, interiors are well maintained, the bedroom is clean & complete with the all necessities, the mattress is comfy, spacious (family room) , foods are great, owner & staff are friendly and the location is very strategic, walking distance to jetty, market & all.. I have a pleasant staycation here, will highly recommend..

Stayed in this hotel for six days. I stayed on the fourth floor with a wide view. Although the facilities and decoration are a bit old, the hygiene is good. The service is responsive. The front desk helped to book a car to Tawau Airport for 30 MYR per person. The room price matches the location and decoration. The shortcomings of the hotel are: 1. It is located at a busy roundabout with many cars and poor sound insulation, which is noisy; 2. The air conditioner may be old, and the compressor rumbles 24 hours a day. There is noise both indoors and outdoors. I sometimes feel noisy when I wear earplugs when sleeping, but the overall impact is not big. It depends on the individual.

The location is quite convenient, and the room is like a 100-200 express hotel. I traveled alone, and there was a chain and a bolt-like thing on the door of the room, which felt quite safe. The room not facing the street was also very quiet, and I couldn't hear the noise from the next room or the street; there was an elevator and a dehydrator; bottled water was not provided, but there was a water dispenser, and I had a thermos cup so I didn't feel inconvenient; toiletries were all available, including toothbrushes, cotton swabs, razors, and combs; I didn't look at towels, so I brought my own towels; the hot water in the shower was stable and the water flow was quite large; they didn't actively provide cleaning services, but you can press the cleaning switch in advance if you need it. I told the front desk when I ran out of paper towels in the room and they were delivered quickly. Overall, I was satisfied, and at this price, I couldn't ask for too much.

The location is very convenient, in the city center, 5 minutes walk to several large supermarkets and tourist shopping areas. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the pier, the gathering point for water activities. The hotel was recently renovated and the cleanliness and air conditioning were satisfactory. The equipment is also thoughtful. There are buckets in the bathroom and dehydrators on each floor, which are convenient for washing and drying swimsuits. The staff service is also very enthusiastic. The only downside is that you shouldn't have any expectations for breakfast, just eat until you're full. Although smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms, the room has the usual smoke smell of hotels in mainland China. This reminds me of a day when I went snorkeling at sea and saw a group of tourists from mainland China smoking the whole day in a cabin where smoking was strictly prohibited. This is how Chinese people embarrass themselves abroad!

In Semporna town, very close to the pier, about ten minutes walk. A deposit of 100 Malaysian ringgit is required for check-in. Advantages: cheap, convenient, seafood restaurant downstairs, friendly front desk. Disadvantages: no elevator, no water in the room, need to buy or go to the corridor to get it, towels are a bit dirty.

The location is excellent. It is in the center of the town. There is a seafood city on the first floor. It is only about 850 meters to the pier. You can also see the sea from upstairs. The room is small but clean and warm. The owner and staff are very good at service. Any problems are solved in time. It is a great stay experience.

Sanitary conditions: The hotel clearly states that it will only clean once every three days and replace toiletries and towels, and the cleaning light needs to be turned on to remind the room service staff. When we checked in, there were urine stains on the toilet in the room, which was not wiped clean. The amount of toothpaste that comes with the disposable toothbrush in the room can barely be brushed twice. For those who need to brush their teeth in the morning and evening, you have to ask the waiter for more. 3. Service conditions: There is no drinking water in the room. There is a direct drinking water machine at the elevator on each floor, and you need to take a cup to get water. There is a dehydrator at the elevator, which can be used to dehydrate swimsuits, which is very convenient. The elevator is a very traditional elevator, which runs slowly and sometimes needs to wait for a few minutes. The room is not soundproofed well, and the sound of walking and talking in the corridor and next door will be very obvious. Breakfast basically only has instant noodles and sandwiches to choose from, which is very simple. 4. Front desk service: When we check in, we need to pay 100RM in cash as a deposit, and only one room card is provided for one room (this card is also a power card. If you go out, the air conditioner in the room will be turned off. For rooms close to the roundabout, it will be very hot and stuffy. After returning to the room, you need to turn on the air conditioner for at least half an hour before the temperature drops). 5. Others: This building should be a renovation of an old building. The attached picture is the view from the room window. If you are interested, you can use Google Street View to see what the old building looked like a few years ago. It doesn't look like a place for people to live. It is worth praising the Shangcheng Seafood Restaurant on the first floor. The processed seafood starts at 20RM, which is cheaper than other restaurants. The salted egg yolk-flavored shrimp I have eaten is very good.

The room was very clean and new. The location is very good. It is in the center of the activities in Semporna town. This praise is for the front desk staff. They were patient and enthusiastic throughout the whole process. They quickly solved the urgent problem of sending me to the airport. They communicated fluently in English throughout the whole process. It's a good hotel. It's a pity that I didn't take a few photos, but the environment is very good
