The location is a bit away from the center , but only 9 rm can grab a taxi to anywhere popular .

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown

This hotel is really not suitable for Chinese tourists to stay and participate in island hopping. 1. The check-in voucher clearly stated that the room rate included various taxes, but the front desk still asked for taxes. I refused decisively, so he gave up. 2.. The hotel is nearly 3 kilometers away from the pier. It promised free pick-up three times, but it charged only for the second taxi! In the evening, there was no car to pick up at the time and place agreed with the hotel. After repeatedly communicating with the hotel on WeChat (no phone calls, only English translation by SMS), they agreed to pick up after nearly half an hour, but they charged 10 Malaysian ringgit per person. They raised the price without any integrity! Because I couldn’t get a taxi during Eid al-Fitr, I complained to Ctrip and finally got a taxi after waiting anxiously for more than 40 minutes. 3. There is a mosque less than 30 meters outside the window of the hotel room. Its loudspeaker is facing the room. Several times a day, especially at five o'clock in the morning, it starts shouting and singing, and at nine or ten o'clock in the evening, it seriously affects my rest. 4. I asked the hotel to help call a taxi to the airport and they said it would cost 150 Malaysian ringgit. We thought it was too expensive and didn’t use it. They asked us 120. This kind of bargaining feels unreliable. A friend helped me call a 90 taxi. Hotel management should maintain its reputation and prestige with integrity to last forever. By the way, the Peninsula Hotel and the Peace Hotel (Senporna Garden Hotel) are two brands in one building, and even the check-in and check-out procedures are done at the Peace Hotel.

It’s similar to hotels/guesthouses in China, and much simpler than domestic budget hotel chains such as Home Inns or GreenTree Inn. Hotels in Sabah generally feel two stars lower than those in China. The one I stayed in in Kota Kinabalu is owned by Marriott The Le Méridien hotel is also comparable to domestic All Seasons hotels, so don’t expect too much. The sanitation is quite clean, and there are often people chanting sutras with loud speakers in the morning and evening... overall it's not bad. It is two kilometers away from the pier and takes a taxi for 6-8RM. You can go to the seafood market to bargain for dragon knives, which is quite fun!

This is Muslim custom, praying five times a day

The hotel is relatively new and clean. It is about 2 kilometers away from the town. It is not noisy, but there are some shops and convenience stores near the hotel. There is also a night market in the evening with a lot of food.

The hotel will only open in August 2023. It is very clean and a taxi from the pier costs about MYR 8. The Peninsula and Peace Hotel are actually two buildings side by side with exactly the same facilities.
