Reviews of Seafest Hotel Boutique Wing

Pros: Close to Seafest Jetty where most of the boats depart / arrive. Close to Starbucks. Cons: Avoid Room 206 (Third Floor) where it literally below Fourth floor bar / restaurant with live band perform starting from 8 to 11pm. The whole room was shaking with every drum beat. Absolutely nightmare. The air con also went off during wee hour until i woke up due to heat. Also avoid Room 118 (Second Floor) because once the air con is on, the switchboard sound very loud. Whole night couldn't sleep. I stayed 3 nights and changed 3 rooms due to noise issue. The last night i stayed in Room 106 (room also tripped in power), it was much better than Room 206. I can still hear the music but less loud. It seems the bar / restaurant run by 3rd party and that seems to be the priority not the hotel itself otherwise wouldn't let the space to generate noise to the hotel guests. Staffs were friendly and helpful. However, i noticed they rely on guests complains on facilities / equipment malfunction rather than carry out regular maintenance. I checked the air con filter with the dust thickness easily accumulated more than 2 years. (Room 118). Stay the Right Wing where rooms run until 118 (second floor) 218 (third floor) to avoid afternoon sun. Those neglected air con at the Left Wing simply can not cool down the room.

Need to improve cleanliness in the room. Can see the shoe print clearly everywhere in the room which i think is not acceptable

Some rooms offer a sea view, but whether you get one is a matter of luck. It's not far from the seafood market and the location is pretty good overall, just a short walk from Haifeng Pier.

Really basic hotel. All of the other reviews are correct about the state of it but the location is perfect!!! So close to the best restaurant area and by the water. I would highly recommend staying in this area of semporna. Just know that you're getting a basic room.

Location is perfect if you have a boat ride at the seafest area. simple and clean hotel at a very reasonable price.

Dirty lift and corridor with foul smell. Shower is uncleaned with look gross. Staff are friendly thought .

The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep.

The facilities are quite basic, comparable to a budget hotel chain in China. The location is decent, making it convenient for diving. However, I strongly advise against staying here, and I won't be returning, because there's an open-air KTV on the rooftop. The singing could be clearly heard throughout the entire building, and they were still singing past 2:30 or 3:00 AM, making it impossible to get any sleep.

My room was not ready when i reached at 7.30pm.. i was tired and need rest ASAP.
