Shinkokyu

Located just 130 meters from Tazawako train station, a 5-minute walk, I was so happy to stay in this house. Everything felt so warm and welcoming. It's not a hotel, but a cozy home. I loved it here so much.

I stayed for one night. There were no particular inconveniences. Towels, toothbrushes, razors, cotton swabs, coffee, etc., were provided. If you can tolerate the 9 AM checkout time, it's conveniently located near the station. Above all, it was clear that the owner runs the inn with care and attention.

I stayed here the day before going to Nyuto Onsen. It was cheap, but everything I needed was provided and the staff were very thoughtful. There was also a shared refrigerator and kitchen. I'd definitely like to stay here again next time.

It was more convenient for us to book all 3 of their rooms, otherwise it would be bad to share with others

It was very clean, the room was spacious, and it was very close to the station. It was a great experience.

This is a B&B hotel, located near the subway station, but there are no shopping malls or attractions nearby. It is mainly a rest stop during the journey, so it is a good choice

I usually don't stay in guesthouses because I dislike shared toilets, but I chose this one for my solo trip during Golden Week because I wanted accommodation near the station. Overall, it was a very comfortable place; the room was spacious, and the futon was just the right thickness and fluffiness. Be aware that the bath is only available until 11 PM, so you'll need to coordinate if other guests are there. Also, some reviews mention a kitchen, which Trip.com's AI seems to have misinterpreted as "self-catering," but only a microwave is available. I wanted to explore the Lake Tazawa area the next day, so I told them I'd be picked up in the evening, and they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Lake Tazawa!
