Very good. The room can see Seongsan Sunrise Peak and the rapeseed fields outside the window. There is a little girl at the front desk who can speak a little Chinese and can meet basic communication needs. She is very polite.

This hotel was a bit above average, but also a bit high priced against the local competition. The location was somewhat convenient and close to many of the sites and transportation hubs. Room was large, quiet and had modern fittings..and a usable desk for work.
I arrived in the middle of a bad rain and windstorm, and the room was pretty soundproof, with double glazed sliding door to the balcony but since I couldnt leave it open and the HVAC was turned off centrally, the room was hot and stuffy all
night, like a sealed tomb!
hard to breath
no nightstand or bedside table, and a power outlet at the top of the bed where a headboard should have been, was inconvenient to plug in power charger for phones.

The hotel is stunning and the rooms were really nice. Special mention to the bathroom which was so clean and so luxurious. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. However, we were quite disappointed to face a price to access the sauna and nothing to eat or drink offered in the room for such a high-standard hotel. The swimming pool was nice but so stinky that we weren't comfortable going in it. The outdoor pool was not heated enough to swim in it during winter. The hotel had so many things included (24-hour convenience store, multiple restaurants) you could basically live there. Beware that there are a lot of families, therefore kids and you can hear them from early morning. If you go there it's good to have a car but the village next to them has many different restaurants and a large nice beach.
The big minus: we booked a room for 3 on Trip.com but when we arrived at the hotel they said it was only for two and we had to pay an extra per night quite high.
In short: I highly recommend the place.

A very unique hotel. I really recommend everyone who comes to Jeju Island to come and experience it.
Facilities: The floor heating is very comfortable and you can adjust the height by yourself. The refrigerator and other items are OK, and there is also a convenience store.
Hygiene: Very clean. The yard and house are neat and tidy.
Environment: The scenery in the yard is beautiful, with many oranges. The inside of the Korean house is also very unique. The owner of the yard must have specially designed the garden, which is very beautiful.
Service: There is an aunt who can speak Chinese, and there is a young man who may be his son who cannot speak Chinese but is very active in communicating, helping us take a taxi and telling us the route. The only thing is that I stayed for several days and borrowed a hanbok once. When I borrowed the hanbok, I wanted to ask if I could return it later. Rejected ~ I don’t quite understand if there are cultural differences. Shouldn’t I be able to experience it for 1 hour every day? In fact, one hour is enough, but I still feel a little uncomfortable.
Transportation: It is very close to Olai Market. The airport bus takes a long time, but it is worth it. There is the sea opposite the hotel. There are orange trees on the roadside nearby, which are super beautiful.

Location of the hotel is good, very convenient. We were able to walk to most places. It is not too far from the Olle Traditional Market. It is near to bus stops where you can hop on to the city buses.
The hotel staff are friendly and are able to speak simple English. The facilities are good (please note you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, it seems like most hotel in Jeju do not provide such amenities), the room is clean, and the hotel do clean the room everyday with change of bedsheets and towels.
Highly recommend. Good prices as well.

Room had a nice view and was really clean. *BACKGROUND My wife and I live in Incheon and wanted to stay at this hotel for a 3-night staycation. (Note for Bonvoy members: We booked the first night via a FNA+points, and then the next two nights with just points.) Cash rates during our stay were 1.2m KRW per night. *CHECKING IN We rented a car at the airport and drove in. Plan on allocating around 75 minutes for that drive. The resort is quite far from any shops or sightseeing sights, and you should plan to have access to a car while you are staying here. Taxis are often hard to come by, and it's a real hassle to order one, even via apps. There is no shuttle bus offered. When we got to the resort, we parked our car in the covered parking and went up to the 8th floor lobby. The semi-open-air lobby is really a nice place. We arrived under cloudy skies but can imagine it could be spectacular under sunny skies. There are 6 large couches around the inner perimeter of that lobby, for people to check-in. When we entered the lobby, the staff intercepted us and told us to sit at the couch and they'd take care of us. A first staff member dropped by with some small ice cream cups. (My wife asked whether a coffee was available and they said no.) Then another staff member came over with the check-in form. No complications, but my ”Payment type” was typed in as ”KEB Hana Bank Card”, which I don't have. The card I added during booking was a totally different credit card. When I asked the staff about the error, they told me to ignore it. That was a bit strange. There are three quirks that you might notice as you make your way from check-in to your room. First, after you go up to check-in on the 8th floor, you go back down to the 3rd floor, in order to walk outside under cover to another building where most of the rooms are. And then, unless your room is on that 3rd floor, you'll take another elevator to get to your room. So, three elevator rides just to get to your room, upon your first arrival. Second, the hallways don't seem to be temperature regulated; at least in the summer, the hallways are not air conditioned. Possibly they are not heated fully during the winter either. I presume it's part of their pledge towards sustainability. Second, the buttons for ”up/down” when you call for an elevator also include a touchless sensor, presumably for anti-bacterial health reasons. But then when you enter the elevator, there are no such sensors, and you have to touch buttons to go to a floor. So, it does defeat the purpose of touchless buttons in the first place. The resort is really weirdly designed. I mean, the materials are all very solid. Lots of marble, stone, and wood. But the layout is quite ridiculous. The architect apparently wanted to design a place that fostered exploration and instead created a place for confusion. (For one, I'd wish to see some benches or seating next to the courtyard garden as you walk out of Dancing Durimi to The Lounge.) By Day #3, my wife and I did fee

GGuest UserFirst of all, I reserved a garden view when making a reservation, but the garden overlooks the roundabout. Please note that the other side requires a poolside view.
And since the hotel is located far from the main road, traveling by foot may be difficult. The room was in good condition and there was a convenience store next to the lobby, which was convenient.
EEddieThe extraordinary services of the hotel staff are unforgettable. I must specially thank you the Receptionist ”Elin”. She is very attentive and understands what I need promptly. She quickly makes thoughtful arrangements for me during check in. This allowed my wife and I to recover and enjoy the entire trip.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right next to the sea, super scenic, rooms are big and came with an ocean view. Hotel room had Nescafe Dulce Gusto machine with plenty of capsules which was a huge surprise for us. Love sipping Americano while viewing the sea. Hotel is really beautiful, comes with a nice library. They provided bottled water as well. There was a GS25 nearby. There is a restaurant called Olle Chinatown nearby which serves THE BEST TANGSUYUK (sweet sour pork). Give it a try. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap was from MALIN GOETZ. You definitely get a quality stay here.
GGuest UserThe hotel interior was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. I stayed for two days, and the service was good, parking was convenient, and there were lots of food and entertainment nearby, so it was even better.
GGuest UserThis places is designed for families with younger children. If thats you, you’ll have fun. There are tons of amenities, water parks etc. My wife and I are older. All of our children are adults, so we were traveling alone. We left the hotel a day early, simply because we couldn’t sleep on the bed any longer. Beds in Asia are generally much firmer than what westerners are used to, but that was the hardest before we’ve experienced in our travels.
SSENG CHONGFirst70 Hotel, Jeju, Korea - A Mix of Pros and Cons
I recently had the opportunity to stay at First70 Hotel in Jeju, Korea and would like to share my experience. While the hotel’s location and service were commendable, I found certain aspects pertaining to cleanliness and amenities rather disappointing.
Firstly, let me start with the positives. The hotel’s location is truly superb. Situated in a prime area of Jeju, it offers convenient access to popular attractions and transportation options. Whether you’re looking to explore the natural beauty of this picturesque island or indulge in shopping and dining experiences, First70 Hotel’s location is a definite advantage.
The service provided by the staff at First70 Hotel was exceptional throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, the hotel staff displayed professionalism and a genuine willingness to assist. They were attentive, responsive, and made sure all my needs were met promptly. The level of service truly enhanced my overall experience.
However, there were certain areas where First70 Hotel fell short. Cleanliness was one such aspect that left much to be desired. I observed lackluster efforts in maintaining cleanliness standards within the rooms and public areas of the hotel. Stains on carpets, dusty surfaces, and subpar bathroom conditions were evident during my stay.
Another disappointment was the state of amenities provided by First70 Hotel. While basic necessities were available, such as toiletries and towels, they seemed worn out or inadequate for a hotel aiming to provide a comfortable experience for its guests. Additionally, the absence of certain amenities that are commonly expected in hotels of similar caliber was quite noticeable.
In conclusion, First70 Hotel’s location and service certainly make it an enticing option for travelers visiting Jeju. However, prospective guests should be aware that there are areas where improvement is needed - specifically in terms of cleanliness upkeep and provision of adequate amenities. It is my hope that management takes these concerns into consideration and takes necessary steps to rectify them, in order to provide a more satisfying experience for future guests.
BBoyscout76Let me start with one thing: with a ”touch of young blood”.
First location: sits in idyllic and panoramic view from the common balcony in 6F. A first time visitor to Jeju should at leats stay few days in Seogwipo (again, Jeju is divided into Jeju City and Seogwipo) as it showcase all the vest attractions in South, West and East Jeju)
From Airport, take bus 600 and bus stop seogwipohang (31 stops from airport)
Cleanliness: ilike to see the rooms no shoes and slipper allowed. It is clean and comfortable from heated floor and nice smelling beds and blankets and reasonable size locker rooms.
Service: The giveaway price you paid also includes free breakfast. Again, i explain later why it has a touch fresh blood, you will love to see new ideas in kitchen liek SeomBucks, SeomWay and many more. But what most I dont understand is why there are sweets (candies) also in Shower rooms. Fridge, you can have all you want to put in and get a personal space.
Facilities: The hostel in 6F overlooks the seogwipo sub-marine park. It is also within walking distance to a waterfall park. The rooftop also is so spacious (that you can hold a basketball) and a laundry.
The property caretaker, is literally a young blood, a college student having school breaks due to some injury and is managing this little haven is full of ideas, ready to jump and help, fluent in English and undoubtedly above average IQ/EQ. He surely can deal with picky and demanding foreigners and locals alike to get the best feeling at-home experience.
This why i said there is a touch of YOUNG BLOODS.
Ps: I canceled several of my bookings in another hotel and extended my stay here.
The price with breakfast,
RRoam809812In China, I know it is a national chain. This is a hotel in Seogwipo Innovation City. We provide decent service at a reasonable price. The rooms are narrow but satisfactory for the price. Toothpaste toothbrushes should be purchased separately. There was a parking tower but it seemed not to be operated and I had to park and walk in a public parking lot separately. There was no other amenities. Good thing was reasonable price and enough service, nothing to disappoint.
GGuest UserI love the self check-in since few Koreans working in hotels speak good English. It saves a lot of hassle n misunderstandings.
I love the space in the hotel room.
I love the great car park attendants - 2 guys doing a good job especially the big guy! 👍👍
The bathroom water handle n metal bar gets heated up and burned our hands - very dangerous.
I love the kitchen with induction stove top but unfortunately no pots to boil ramen etc… no coffee or tea provided too.
FfscholarThe Ocean Blue Hotel was in fact quite nice, although I had been a bit concerned before I checked in. Room was clean in general. Two bottles of water were provided every day. TV was good. Wifi was fast. I did not have a chance to have a meal at the hotel. It is about 10 minutes to walk from the Jeju ICC. The room was very cheap with an amazing value. One issue is there is nothing within 10 minutes in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. For me, I had a meeting at the ICC, so it was okay.
