Location is far from Jeju city center. The hotel could do with more guest activities in the day. other than that the hotel is good for a short stay.

First time visiting this hotel in Jeju and I must say the service by the staffs are really warm and professional. They are really friendly and helpful. We didn’t experience the amenities due to the weather was too cold, but we really enjoy our stay very much.

Pretty much self contained resort. I had a rented car, but ended up not going anywhere and stayed the whole time in resort. There are lots of restaurants in the premises, that I have found sufficient. Also there’s a small theme park, where we went at the best time of the year! There was literally no queue whatsoever. Loved it!

Was really nice, stayed with the kids n a family room. King bed with a single bed. Super comfy,toilet was clean and water was hot. Only thing not alot of halal food around.

The room was great, and the smart toilet and service were excellent. I recommend staying here. However, I went for the Marriott buffet at lunchtime and was very disappointed. I'd seen many photos that showed snow crab legs, but there were none when I got there. It was definitely not worth it; if this were in China, it would go out of business. They only had steak and pork ribs, and the main dishes were just sushi, malatang, rice noodles, and a pot of pasta. For fruit, they only had kiwi, dragon fruit, and grapefruit. I strongly advise against eating here.

During the October National Holiday, which coincided with a Korean holiday, the hotel was fully booked. We were assigned a room on the outermost side, meaning everyone walked past our door. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent, and I barely slept a wink the whole night. We only managed to switch rooms on the second day. The hotel's breakfast buffet required waiting, as their capacity to handle guests was poor; we waited for about 30 minutes. The service was lacking, making for a less than ideal experience. If you're traveling with children for the theme park, I'd recommend choosing Shinhwa Resort because it includes free tickets to both parks. Also, the food throughout the entire resort area is quite mediocre. I'd advise against visiting Hanrawon; the service, taste, and value for money were all disappointing.

The room facilities were pretty standard, at most a 4-star level. The hot spring pools at the swimming pool were very comfortable, connecting both indoor and outdoor areas, and they were cleaned every hour on the dot. Toothpaste wasn't provided in the room; if you wanted it, it cost 1000 KRW. During my stay, it was Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving, Oct 1-12), so there were a lot of Koreans and the hotel was fully booked. Shinhwa World is a complex with four hotels; if you want a comfortable stay when it's busy, Somerset is probably your best bet.
