Hotels in Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo

On my last trip, I stayed at Seogwipo branch right next to Olle Market. Both facilities are clean and luxurious. Mosulpo has a great view and the deluxe room is spacious. It is unmanned check-in and check-out is done by inserting the key into the elevator. There is parking for about 8 cars on the first floor and there is also a mechanical parking lot, so it is not inconvenient. When choosing a hotel, be sure to check the parking lot. It is really hard to park in a place with inconvenient parking. Compared to Seogwipo branch, even if you stay for multiple nights, they do not provide additional bottled water, so you have to get it from the water purifier in the restaurant on the first basement floor or buy it individually. Towels are provided on the first floor of Seogwipo branch, so you can take them individually, but Mosulpo branch does not provide them. In my case, it was not lacking. If you want luxury hotel-level facilities at a low price, I highly recommend it.

It's a pity that I only stayed for two nights. I will definitely book this hotel again next time I come! I like the room here very much. I hope my next trip to Jeju Island won’t be too long.

The bathroom is massive and an excellent way to decompress. The surrounding area is the most central for the west side of the island, but if you don’t mind 25 minute drives it is not an issue. There is a cafe and a 7/11 downstairs which is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable and spacious

We stayed for five nights in the tropical hideaway hotel. The hotel is nicely decorated, as are the spacious rooms. A real plus is that all rooms have a direct sea view and a balcony, and the bathtub on the balcony is awesome. The pool area is equally nice. The language barrier (English) is a small issue, so perhaps service is more personal when you speak Korean. Anyway, everyone spoke sufficient basic English and was very kind. Breakfast is good, but the variety could be better. Every day, there is a little set menu (see pictures), yet there are only two different menus. So we ended up having the same again after day 3. Offering a bit more variety would be great, although we enjoyed the breakfast overall. A downside is that breakfast is only between 8:30 and 9:30 am, so if you plan to go for a hike or so and want to leave early, that’s not ideal. The location in a little seafront village is nice. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Just note that going to some famous places in Jeju will imply quite a bit of driving (e.g., 1.5 hours to Seongsang and 45 minutes to Seogwipo). In any case, you need a car. In sum, it’s a good choice in Jeju, and we recommend it (keeping the above notes in mind)

We got a room that was sea facing, and it was simple and clean. Basic amenities are provided, except toothbrush. Room was clean and in good condition. Do look out for beautiful sunsets while you are there. Fortunately we made it as we only check-in after 5pm (due to our schedule). There's a nice balcony to chill on and bbq pits that you can book in advance. Parking is available on site too as you probably need to drive to be able to get to this place. It's about a 40mins drive from Love Land and airport.

It was clean, the view was good, and the overall condition was good. One thing was that the sound was a bit loud in the bathroom, but it was noisy for a while to use the spa upstairs.

If you need a relaxing trip, this is a suitable hotel which is next to the dolphin park. And there is also a bathtub in the room, so you can watch the sea when you take a bath. The only problem is that there is a building in front of the hotel now, so the view is not the most perfect. BTW, host is very kindly, even you aren't korean speaker, he will try to use translate APP to communicate to you.

It's a rush schedule. The accommodation is satisfactory for the price. There was some infrastructure around, so there was no inconvenience to see the schedule on business trips. The staff solved it well and was satisfied with the help.

The pension house is located at a more deserted stretch along the coast. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk during both check in or check out from which we could find out more information on a recommended place for dinner or the earliest opening hour for breakfast. We found the lack of a host rather strange. We had to figure our way and ended up asking a very helpful staff at the restaurant. The room keys were simply placed at the front desk table (we returned them the same way). The soap in the washroom was very obviously used and old. The rooms are smaller than they seem in the pictures. There is a nice small balcony though. The futons were comfortable and were heated for winter so that was nice too.
