Hotels in Olle Market, Seogwipo

Facilities: The room isn't big. Cleanliness: Very clean, no strange odors. Environment: Convenient transportation. Service: No service staff. At night, there was a constant sound of water, making it hard to sleep. The room window was drafty, and the bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area. Korea was terrible; I definitely won't be coming back.

The accomodation gave my family a unique experience. We stayed in the folk cottage and this gave us a glimpse to traditional Korean living but with some modernisation. The heated floors were great in winter. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, they even emailed us to inform us that we left something behind. The location is good if you want to do activities near Seogwipo. We had a car, and this place was about 20 min to Tangerine farms, 10 min to some waterfalls, Seogwipo submarine,Seogwipo Olle Market and about 50min to Seongsan Ilchubong.

We stay 2N here and is amazing snowing morning surprising us when we open the window, the opposite is a beautiful garden and we capture many beautiful photos on snowy day, room is as advertised and comfortable to stay, only the basement car park is one way for up & down way, my driving skill is being tested here, overall is satisfying & recommended to stay & value for money during Dec (is low season.)

We booked the Deluxe Family Twin Ocean View room and instead we were given a street view room that faced a construction site. We were woken up by the construction noises every morning. I tried to fight this issue with the front lobby however they said that they randomly assign rooms and you can't be guaranteed an ocean view room which was crazy to my husband and I as we paid extra for this room type. Our towels were changed everyday and we were given waters everyday. The carpet in the room is a little cringe and outdated. The shower was good and we didn't have any drainage issues either. The parking is also an issue, they don't reimburse you the full amount however you have no choice but to use paid parking as the hotel doesn't provide free parking.

1. The hotel is very close to the starting point of Olle Trail Route 7. 2. The hotel facilities are excellent and new, similar to a Hilton hotel in China, but different from a 'Quanji' hotel, featuring a large lobby, a restaurant, and various paid amenities. 3. There's a food street and clubs nearby, and you can easily walk to a fantastic BBQ restaurant. 4. It's very, very close to Olle Market. A shopping tip for Olle Market: there are no public trash cans, so please return any garbage from food purchases to where you bought them.

This hotel is a perfect last stop for your Jeju trip. It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Lee Jung-seop Art Gallery, Jeongbang Waterfall (inside Seobok Park), and Olle Market. Right outside the hotel entrance, to your left, you'll find the terminal for bus route 600, offering direct service to both the city center and the airport. As an older 5-star hotel, the facilities are a bit dated but reasonably well-maintained. If you head towards the sea from the large lawn, then turn left, there's a restaurant serving delicious Samgyetang and seafood hotpot. Turn right from the lawn, and a two-minute stroll along the coastal boardwalk leads to another beachfront cafe, perfect for snapping photos on a sunny day. A word of caution: Do NOT eat at the black pork BBQ restaurant right by the hotel entrance; the pork had a strong, unpleasant, urine-like smell. This hotel is ideal for guests looking to relax and recharge for a couple of days in the Seogwipo area before heading back home. Dining options aren't particularly convenient, and there isn't a convenience store right outside. I rarely leave reviews, but this hotel is truly amazing! The lady at the front desk spoke English and was super cute and gentle, always smiling. They offer free ice and a coffee machine. It's very close to both Olle Market and OY. The room also had plenty of complimentary snacks. Breakfast was just okay, but the environment was excellent. I much prefer it here to hotels near the airport – it’s so quiet and pleasant. If you’re coming to Seogwipo, choose this hotel!

Clean room with fresh sheets and great view of Hallasan from the room. Although room is not the newest and they don’t provide amenities such as toothbrush and toothpaste, there were hand wash liquid and lotion provided. Toilet was also big. Had to park our car at a big sheltered public parking space about 2 mins away from the hotel but it was not a problem. Hotel is nearby food area and is walking distance away from the popular market. Overall, a great experience at Hotel Golden Daisy, value for money and would stay here again!

A nice small hotel near the waterfalls, located in a quiet area. There is a 24-hour convenience store on the ground floor, which is very convenient, although sometimes people who like to drink can be noisy outside at night. The hotel has a parking lot, although it’s quite small. During peak season, it might not be enough, but there is free parking available nearby. Breakfast is varied, although it doesn't change from day to day. The room was clean, although the furniture is old, especially in the bathroom, but there was no sewage smell. The windows have mosquito screens — don't forget to keep them closed, as there were already mosquitoes in April. The only downside I can mention is that breakfast starts only at 7:30 AM, and if you check out earlier, for example, to catch a flight, the hotel won’t be able to prepare a takeaway breakfast for you, even if breakfast was included or prepaid.

The location is fantastic! It's right across from a large park, and just a 10-minute walk to Olle Market. The street behind the hotel is a starting point for the Olle Trail, and there's a food street just a few steps away, leading directly to Olle Trail Route 7. Upon check-in, the hotel provides a helpful FAQ sheet, including addresses for bike rental shops. We rented bikes for a day and had a great experience. There's a CU convenience store right outside, as well as coin-operated washers and dryers. The breakfast is a bit basic and pretty much the same every day, and the bed was a little too soft for my liking. However, these are minor points, and overall, I really liked this hotel.
