Great location! Super close to the subway station with plenty of shops and food options nearby. Lots of fun things to do too. It can get a bit noisy as it's on the main street, but it's very convenient for getting around. Self check-in was a breeze.

I was worried when I saw that all the reviews mentioned mold, given the price. Turns out, it's true... The self check-in/check-out made it feel like they don't really care about upkeep. Aside from the mold, the fridge kept making a clicking noise. The bed felt crammed in; the mattress would hit the door every time I opened it. Pros: The bed was comfortable and the hot water worked well. There was even a curling iron. Cons: No power outlets, and only a cold water dispenser on the first floor. (Plus photos)

This was my second time staying at the Carrot Hotel. Last time, I stayed on the first floor, which was very convenient. This time, I was on the second floor, and the stairs were a bit narrow and felt a little unsafe. When I was checking out, my luggage was a bit large and actually slipped down the stairs. 🥲

Everything was awful! The room and the hotel itself were incredibly dirty! Dust was hanging in clumps from the ceiling! The bed linen was stained and torn! The housekeeper tried to clean the dust after I showed them! Under the bed, there was dust and dirt from previous guests! Horrible!

The hotel is located in a small alley behind Hyundai Department Store, with clear signs. There's a GS25 and many food options nearby, so the location is very convenient for getting around. Safety is also good. There's no lift, and the stairs are narrow. The room isn't big, but having two beds is fine. The room was a bit damp with mold on both the window and the walls. The floor was clean, but it wasn't clean under the bed at all. The bathroom ceiling also had mold. There's hot water with good pressure. Don't forget to turn on the fridge before putting anything in! 😉 Refill water is available downstairs, along with a kettle and microwave. There's also a free washing machine.
