Hotel Drip&Drop, Myeongdong

Perfect for travelling in Seoul, especially solo. Capsules are very cosy and have enough space for your belongings. Everything was very clean which was great. The only downside is that you have to be out of the capsule from 10am - 3pm for cleaning. Sometimes it’s inconvenient, especially because I was ill the last couple of days and needed to sleep in but couldn’t. There is also no laundry available which was a bit difficult as I was backpacking so didn’t bring loads of clothes. But these are all things I knew before booking but just wanted to give a heads up to anyone. I would recommend staying here for no more than one week, location is fab and it’s a convenient stay.

everything was good. they serve hot black coffee every morning! i think the capacity quite big, very near to subway and it located exactly at myeongdong market! what i didnt like is the luggage room, its to small for the capacity. its hard to unpack your stuff when everyone moving around in the hallway area.

Excellent location. Just beside Euljiro 1 Station and make it so convenient to take train. Night market just below hotel.

Hotel Drip&Drop is a lovely and well located hostel with one notable drawback, mid-day accessibility. Pros: - Clean - Organized - Easy self Check-in/out - Modern/trendy aesthetic - Complimentary morning brewed coffee - An actual personal city-view window! Con: - *Mandatory daily bed vacancy 10am-3pm* Solo traveling is great for spontaneous people who want a variety of experiences, both during the day and at night. That is not possible with this property. Whether it is exploring the Seoul night life, or arriving from the airport at midnight, you MUST be out of your bed at 10am for daily cleaning. Why does it take 5 hours to clean a few rooms? I have no idea. Regardless, I came back late from a midnight outing and I checked out later that day to stay with a friend. No refunds (or partial refunds) were given for leaving 2 nights early. Overall: If you plan to have a regularly scheduled trip during daylight hours, this hostel is great. But if you wish to take a midday nap, or even use the washrooms while they are being cleaned, I suggest a different option.

The location is wonderful and convenient for solo travellers. Facilities are clean and great.

Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of them during our stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit. The breakfast was to our expectation. The area is central even if one wishes to walk around. The only thing is that the room is hot, does not have enough light and no air comes in even if you open the window as it is sourrounded by buildings. Yeah! I will come again, definitely!

I usually don’t leave a review unless I have a good experience and this one was great if you’re a solo traveler. 1) Its in a great location right in the center of myeongdong st so you can easily bring back your shopping goods and not carry them 2) It’s super clean and the whole facility smells super nice, it’s nice and modern looking too 3) Pretty quite in the girls capsule I had no trouble falling asleep without earbuds and I’m a pretty light sleeper. Only can get a bit annoying if you live on the top bunk to get up and dow
