Hotel YH (Yeonhuijang)

The location is geared towards students. It's a bare-bones place. The room is tiny, and they only provide small towels. On the plus side, the bed is comfortable.

I chose this hotel near Hongdae Entrance Station because I had an early morning flight and wanted easy access to the airport. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and it's about a 15-minute walk from Hongdae Entrance Station. There's a Daiso and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was simple, but perfectly adequate since I just needed a place to sleep. The room had a pleasant air freshener scent, and thankfully, no sewage smell. The bathroom was clean. Towels are provided, but there are extra fresh ones in the hallway if you need more. It was great that the shower water pressure was easily adjustable. However, the outlet inside the shower didn't work, and there were only two other outlets in the room. This might be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of devices to charge. Overall, the price was very reasonable, especially considering it was during spring break, which was a huge plus!

This guesthouse has a wonderfully warm atmosphere, like visiting a local friend's home. It's a comforting, homey place where even solo travelers can feel safe and relaxed. The Wi-Fi in the common area was excellent, making it perfect for planning my trip or getting some work done in a quiet environment!

The traditional mother-of-pearl inlaid furniture in the room was absolutely beautiful, allowing us to fully experience the unique charm of Korea. Spending time relaxing on the spacious terrace was exceptional; it truly helped us forget the city's hustle and bustle and unwind completely!
